My self-summary
Outgoing, energetic and humourous wine snob and published author of fiction (with another novel 1/3 complete) who's into music (rock, blues, jazz, classical opera and reggae), dancing, history, cooking, travelling, some sports and generally being out and about, rain or shine, to name a few passions.

I am humourous, energetic, and into discovering so if you see some parallels, especially an unconditional sense of humour, not into the tangibles (money, status nor 'stuff') nor vanity as a priority and enjoy sharing and discovering, let's chat.
What I’m doing with my life
Discovering all around me and enjoying my discoveries. Not being a spectator in my life but actively indulging.
I’m really good at
being a single, responsible parent, enjoying wine, the moment, spontaneous conversation and being "accidentally deep" yet humourous.
The first things people usually notice about me
Smart arse retorts or my ice-breaking skills.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors: From Bill Shakespeare to Hugh Johnson.
Movies: Young Frankenstein, Twelve O'Clock High, Monty Python and the Holy Grail;
Music: Rock (dating back to the Beatles), Blues (I include the Stones here along with BB et el), Jazz, classical, opera, reggae and Sinatra;
Foods: Sushi, Chinese, Thai, Italian, French and Standard fare when not cooking.
Six things I could never do without
Being a parent, wine, sushi, travelling, my camera, witty observations coming from me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life (while living it), history, politics, the Sunset, wine, where I'm going in order to add to my frequent flier programs and topical stuff.

Those of course come second to, why do online meeting sites ask silly arse questions like these?
On a typical Friday night I am
Starbucks, movies, dancing, with friends, having a Netflix (or "Coupling") night and/or star gazing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You'll have to ask first, won't you?
You should message me if
You're genuine, humourous the slightest bit interested, laid back and into wine (even moderately) but not into games nor deceit.

Well, if you made it this far in perusing my profile, don't be a shadow, say "Hello!"
