My self-summary
My word, I'm not even a hundred yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Studying History and Government at Bunker Hill. My goal is to get some practical experience, maybe an internship on Beacon Hill, and then head to Washington to act as a lobbyist for the American People. I really want to get involved in politics, to be an engine for change, and the way I reckon it, the best way to do that is to actually work to promote positive legislation. And it would be really great to be right on hand to strangle abominations like the NDAA or the Expatriate Act at birth. I spend a lot of my time with my hobbies: Reading, Writing, Painting, Singing, Acting.
I’m really good at
Singing, or so I'm told. Also, I'm a fair painter, and my great passion (artistically) is small-scale miniatures building. It's geeky, sure, but when I'm done I'll have an epic battlefield set up in my workshop. And if you ask real nice, I'll even show it to you.
The first things people usually notice about me
My intensity. I can be kind of overwhelming when talking about a subject I love, and I generally love the subjects I talk about; Politics, books, games, Space, et cetera.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These are subjects I really love, so you'll have to forgive me for going on and on.

Books:The Golden Compass; Ender's Game; Stranger in a Strange Land; The Moon is a Harsh Mistress; Sundiver; I, Robot; I, Jedi; A Critique of Pure Reason; Ringworld; The Incarnations of Immortality; Jhereg; Otherland; To Sail Beyond the Sunset; The Last Herald Mage; The Gunslinger; Assassin's Apprentice (and the rest of the Farseer/Tawny Man trilogies), The Lies of Locke Lamora. I'll name others as they come to me.

Movies: The Iron Giant, Dune, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Role Models, Castle in the Sky, The Terminator, Red Dawn, By Dawn's Early Light, The Day After, Monty Python and the Meaning of Life; Holy Grail, Raiders of the Lost Ark

Music: I live for new music. I love it when people introduce me to new genres or artists. Among my current favorites are Coheed and Cambria, Great Big Sea, The Offspring, Heather Alexander, The Deadites, The Old Blind Dogs, Johnny Cash, Thrice, Dave Matthews, (some of) The Black Eyed Peas, City and Colour. I revel in classical and instrumentals; some of my favorite pieces come from the Scifi Channel movie Children of Dune, or the works of Philip Glass. Incredible music, I highly recommend it. Got anything else for me?

Food: Italian; Anything alfredo. Sushi. Pizza. Pierogi. Eggs. I'd love to try new things.
Six things I could never do without
Music, Acting, Play, Friendship, Love, Hate
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future of the Human Race, and why we don't do anything with our space program anymore. Although the company SpaceX gives me a whole lot of hope, with their Dragon spacecraft. Godspeed, boys.
On a typical Friday night I am
Heading to a larp for the weekend, or hanging around the house trying to figure out what to do on a college student's budget. I tend to stay in, but that's mostly because I haven't found anyone who likes to go out in my current circle of friends. Know a good dive or dance hall?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My biggest guilty pleasure is the romantic comedy. Kate and Leopold is one of my favorites.
You should message me if
You're insterested in talking about the philosophy behind books and stories. Or if you want to head out for a pint and talk about music. If you know who Harold Lauder is, or want to discuss the Kwisatz Haderach. Or if you've got some great place in the boston area you want to share with someone new. Or if you're a gamer.

Or maybe, just maybe, if you feel like it.
