My self-summary
I moved to the city when I was 18, did a little bit of acting but turned my focus behind the camera and now I own a small production company, with which I direct music videos, documentaries, instructional and do interviews. I also work on bigger movies and tv shows, and of course, I also do catering.

I spend a lot of time hanging out around my neighborhood, watching movies and watering my plants. Always trying to go out to see new bands and convince them to shoot a video with me. I love to find new places to get good food, trying to cook more at home too.

I have a firm belief that I should not be where I live for my birthday. So far I have been to Jamaica, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Vietnam and a couple other places to keep this goal alive. The world is full of amazing things and its as easy as getting on a plane to experience them.
What I’m doing with my life
Mixing my two biggest loves, music and movies. I have done the concept, directed, and edited most of my projects. Youtube search for Mischievous Lover by Ms. Shira if you're interested.

Current Project: Everybody Dances In Ciaro - Three Black Eyes (shot in Vietnam!)
I’m really good at
greenthumb, boardgames, making mixes, back rubs, being able to conversate about almost anything
The first things people usually notice about me
There are different people in my life, who have never met each other, who don't know my name and only call me Harry Potter. They say it with love, I think.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mario Puzo, Chuck Palaniuk, the world according to garp, Salman Rushdie, Raymond Carver, Saul Williams, Game of Thrones series (sorry, Song of Fire and Ice), Michael Chabon

Requiem for a Dream, SLAM, RIZE, eternal sunshine, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Godfather trilogy, The Brothers Bloom

Woodkid, Lana Del Rey, Best Coast, Devotchka, Coco Rosie, Spoon, Madlib, Billie Holiday, Tom Waits, Psapp, Black Kids, Bat for Lashes, Cold War Kids, the Magnetic Fields, Erykah Badu, newest discovery is HAIM

this really doesn't even begin my list
Six things I could never do without
-my money clip (shaped like scissors)
-the "I love this song!" moment
-that instant when dancing with someone where you almost lose your balance and end up tangled on the floor (but not actually dropping your partner)
-engaging conversation
-something to read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
current and next projects and how I'm procrastinating too much, and how I'll get right to them after I fill out this really important dating profile

How I want to play more ultimate frisbee this summer, but never do
On a typical Friday night I am
Either hanging with my friends at my apt or out at a bar trying to catch a band or working. Yeah, usually working, sadly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have 5 sisters
You should message me if
OK!! I have come up with some things that I've never (or rarely) done here in the city and have always wanted to check off, but i need a date to come with! Let me know if you want to do any of these things.

*Guggenheim Museum (Easy I know)
*Blue Man Group
*Bodies exhibit
*Take that lift thing on the east side around upper midtown
*Actually walk or ride a bike around staten island instead of just taking the ferry back and forth
*Go to the Brooklyn Brewery and take a tour
*Go swing dancing

I'll think of some more or if you have something you always wanted to do let me know!
