My self-summary
Hmm...summary, eh? I am a life-long musician / singer-songwriter, a motorcycle rider / mechanic, a music collector, and a lover of most things vintage. I'm quite open-minded and easy going. I'm a blue collar guy, working in a machine shop. I don't have white collar aspirations...been there, done that. I found that corporate life wasn't for me. I don't believe that the only good jobs involve a chair and a desk. I guess my Tennessee upbringing gave me a fondness for working with my hands, and a love of simpler things.
I love cartoons, always have; Immaturity, sure...I prefer boyish charm...haha. It's a big plus if you enjoy time on a motorbike. I also have a comfy RV that I like to escape with, along with my Doggie, Wyatt Earp. Collecting vinyl records is one of my favorite hobbies...big time scavenger hunting...even more fun with a tandem jump buddy....
What I’m doing with my life
I guess, like most others, just trying to make it better and reinvent a bit. I'm attending Hennepin Tech for Electronics. The eventuality is for alternative energy, working wind farms and solar. I play in a classic rock band on the side...good times, great musicians. I enjoy my Triumph Tiger for comfy motorbike touring. The passenger seat is very nice...hint hint...
I’m really good at
Music, I'm mostly a singer, but a fair player otherwise. I'm mechanically minded and handy. I'm very understanding and easy to talk to. I'm good at putting myself in others' shoes. I've lived an interesting life...hahaha
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm usually laughing about something or cracking wise, so...positive outlook?...and completely random trivial knowledge...big fan.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I haven't been reading much lately, unfortunately. I think the last thing was 'The Long Way Round', or 'Desert Solitaire'. Both were great. Over the years, I've enjoyed lots of Stephen King, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury, Orson Scott Card...if it's scary, sci-fi, otherworldly, etc., I probably dig it...haha. The flip side of that is that I've enjoyed classics, mythology, and philosophy. I've been watching Sons Of Anarchy, Walking Dead, American Horror Story, and I love cartoons...can't help it. I tend toward the British Rock scene and classic country for music, and of course, lots of classics. I love spicy stuff, food-wise.

Some of my favorite bands/artists of all time:
TRAVIS, Elbow, Blind Melon, Zep, Elvis Costello, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Black Crowes, Radiohead, Ryan Adams, Jeff Buckley, Soundgarden, Stereophonics, ZZ Top, and on and on and on...hahaha
Six things I could never do without
Nouns, Proper nouns, Adjectives, Action verbs, bananas, Pronouns.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stuff...sometimes junk...sometimes how particle physics in its infinite smallness could unlock everything that's now know, stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
That depends. Here are some of my favorites...spinning records with friends, having a beverage somewhere in Nordeast, home for a movie night, catching some live music, shooting pool, Riding my Triumph (whenever possible), random Friday activity #17.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I occasionally listen to Hall and Oates, and enjoy it. There, I said it!
You should message me if
you're happy and you know it...and have a sudden desire to clap your hands...twice....
