My self-summary
Hmmm, well hello there everyone. How are you all doing?

A bit about myself

-I am THE night owl. It's not that I want to stay up until 4 a.m., it's that my body isn't giving me another option.
-I'm a fan of comedians, so beware of my horribly dull wit.
-My homeland is the internet and sarcasm is my first language.
-I like philosophy and worldly truths. It's cool to learn the secrets of the universe, you know?
-I swear in person. A lot. I can usually avoid it when it's absolutely necessary, but when I'm relaxed and with good company I can sound more like Jay than Silent Bob.
-I share my birthday with my favorite author. Guess right and I'll give you a cookie. :)
-I'm a geek. Not the cool, modern geek thing that's going around now. I like video games, anime, and can play 4 non pop instruments. I like the arts, I was picked on in school and I wasn't popular, at least in a good way. Can't handle that? That's cool, there's plenty of other guys on the site. Still here? Rather impressed that someone actually read the damn thing.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd say the best way to describe myself is an old soul lost in modern times. I tend to stay quiet unless I bring up conversation myself, or know a lot about the subject matter. I'm kind of a relaxed individual, but I do have some direction and know where I want to go in life.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm just working and getting my life in order a bit. Hoping to get back to learning the career I love once I have a decent wage, but I can't say exactly when that'll happen.
I’m really good at
Video games? Music? Art? Good is much to relative when trying to compare others in the vast schema of this floating blue ball of ours.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that I'm a ginger. Or at least that's what I think they notice about me. Don't find myself to be the paranoid type and ask people this type of thing hahaha.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A big list that I would rather not try to recall and type here. Let's just say it's both eclectic and eccentric. Or ever changing. One of those two things. Plus we can actually save this stuff for conversations, ya know?
The six things I could never do without
My friends and family- They shaped me into who I am today.

Food for thought- Something to keep my brain busy so it doesn't try to destroy the world.

Music- It's brought me over to the arts, for better or for worse.

Illusion- for without it we cannot think of a better reality, let alone create one

Corn Dogs-Seriously, who doesn't love those?

Humor- Nothing has given me as much mirth and vicariously given me insight to another's perspective.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Why I talk to myself at 1 a.m. almost like a ritual I have no control over. Why people make drama over stupid things. You know, regular life stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working, doing something with friends, or possibly just playing some music thinking to myself "Why am I so bad at this?" Though lately it's been mostly work since I work nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't know. I'm usually pretty open, so you can ask me anything.
You should message me if
You look for the fun in the moment.
You look for the good in people.
You look for the opportunity in your life.
And you actually can have a conversation. I'm fine sending the first message and all, but if I'm only getting 1-4 word responses, I'm just going to get bored and assume you don't care or aren't interested. Rather just save us both time.

Oh, and it helps if you have a sense of humor.
