I run. A lot. Of late, I've been in marathon training mode because I have an odd sense of what's fun. (By the way, you by no means need to enjoy running yourself, but bonus points if you do.) Lest you think I'm totally insane, the running enables my love of baking (my baking skills are fierce) and eating things I probably shouldn't.
In terms of other activities, running is about the only time I commune with nature. I'd much rather catch a live show, go to a play, visit a museum, check out a new restaurant, do a wine tasting, or watch a good movie than hike through the woods.
While I get my news mostly online, I believe in owning and reading real books. I'm more into non-fiction than novels nowadays. I have a bad habit of reading multiple books at once.
I have a dry sense of humor. It's also a touch warped.
I swear like a sailor at times. However, I also know how to behave in polite society.
Fall is my favorite season. Jeans, boots, sweaters, and autumn leaves equal happiness.

Finding humor in bad situations, which sometimes leads me to laughing at inappropriate things.
Movies: The original Star Wars Trilogy, Dangerous Liaisons, The Lives of Others, High Fidelity, Terminator 2, Good Will Hunting, 50/50, Shaun of the Dead, and Braveheart. Despite some of those selections, my taste runs more to arty/independent fare.
Shows: Game of Thrones, The Americans, The Venture Bros., Hannibal, Full Frontal, Archer, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Justified, and Fargo. I'm currently working my way through Luke Cage.
I also listen to a goodly amount of NPR.

Food: Indian, my mom's lasagne, my grandmother's enchiladas.
