My self-summary
I am an engineer and city dweller. I came to Boston 8 years ago and only want to leave when I retire.

Boston was a place I had always want to be in since I was younger. My grandparents said all I could talk about growing up was wanting to live in Boston and being an engineer; I've certainly hit that milestone!

My friends say I am a complex person to get to know and understand. I jumble how I say things and have difficulty really delivering my thoughts to words. I tend to look lost in my own thought all the time and have the resting sad face. I swear I am not sad!

I think about and question everything, far too often at times. I'm intellectually smart but I also tend to be extremely forgetful and oblivious. I tend to have a compulsion to know things and actively seek out the answers. Which means I really like socializing with friends.

I love my friends ; they are a voice of reason, a pillar of trust, and always there when needed. I ensure I do everything I can for them no matter the time of day.

I have a disinterest for nearly all right wing politics, patriarchy, extremists, and archaic systems. I believe religious groups should have no influence on economy or government, we need more social and governmental reform, and people older than 60 should not be allowed to influence our future.

I have a diverse and vast spread of interests that keep things new and interesting. I really like creating and being creative; from writing to just imaginative ideas.

I'm here looking for new friends and dating relationships. I don't really like casual one time things.

What I’m doing with my life
Right now I work as an Electrical Designer for building infrastructure and try to learn and practice the skills and knowledge I need to succeed in the career.

What that means is that I spend my week designing and engineering electrical systems that will be put into new or retrofitted buildings around Boston.

Part of my career is pursuing the Electrical Engineering EIT (Engineer in Training) certification. This requires a terribly exhausting amount of studies. Topics ranging from Fluid Dynamics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Programming, Low - Voltage Electronics, Power, Economics, and Engineering Ethics.

Next to that is reading, learning, and being familiar with Energy and Electrical codes which define the minimal standards my designs have to meet.

I do a few things my personal time;

I am learning Japanese for my future trip to Japan. I really wanted to be able to read and speak the language more adequately to enhance my experience while there.

I like to live stream and interact with the online audience while I play video games.

I am also learning how to do website design , networking, coding , and experiencing the difficulty of community design and management.
I’m really good at
applying myself to understand and learn new concepts, ideas, and technologies. Also, solving problems ; that's why I became an engineer.

I feel that I am a jack of all trades, master of none.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have quite the imagination.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books :

I grew up loving the Inheritance Cycle, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings but can't say I could go back and re-read them. I feel that my aged self will ruin the nostalgia I have for the series.

I never enjoyed most of the Star Wars series novels but Revan was a great short novel. Some other titles I've enjoyed anything Terry Pratchett, Battle Royal and The Hunger Games, Ender's Game, Digital Fortress, Welcome to Nightvale, Milgrim Experiment, Iron Druid Chronicles, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I also like to read manga and comics. Most notable titles are Scott Pilgrim, Life in Aggro, xkcd, Cyanide and Happiness, and Sarah's Scribbles.

I'm currently reading the Dresden Files ; I plan to read the Witcher series soon after.

Movies -

My all time favorite film is Scott Pilgrim. I connect with it on a spiritual level. I love Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks films. My favorites are Lilo and Stitch, Inside Out, and Wreck it Ralph. I also love Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli films. Spirited Away, My Name is Totoro, and Howl's Moving Castle are my top picks.

Franchises that I really enjoy watching include Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, Batman, and the Lego movies. Anything with Simon Pegg in it. As well as movies like Imitation Game and Milgrim Experiment.

A few romance titles that I adore are Knights Tale, The Fault in Our Stars, and StarDust.

Shows -

I find pleasure in goofy comedy shows like The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Community, and Parks and Rec. I could watch these over many times.

I like to watch some action to from time to time. Firefly would be my favorite show right next to Doctor Who and Sherlock. Show's I could watch once in a while would be something like Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Shield, Gotham, Flash, Arrow, Merlin

I love a few short series as well: Going Postal, Hogsfather, and Color of Magic

I could watch an endless amount of animated shows like Adventure Time, Samurai Jack, Rick and Morty, too many Anime to list, South Park, and family guy.

Music -

When it comes to music, I'm fairly bad at being able to name what I like since I tend to tune in a random genre Spotify station. I can say that I avoid Rap, Country, derogatory lyrics, and skip anything that seems to be just poor music.

Food -

This is something I would hope everyone loves to talk about, who doesn't love food. I certainly do, and I love trying new flavors and styles of foods.

I resort to a few favorites at least once a week: Shepard Pie, Grilled Veg tables with Steak or Sausage, Generic Chinese-American takeout, Japanese, Indian cuisine, Korean, and Italian.

I don't think I've ever had South American, French, German, Taiwanese, or authentic Chinese food.

I tend to avoid very spicy Mexican foods.

Misc -

I like to listen to some podcasts like 'Welcome to Nightvale' and MBMBAM.and watch various YouTube channels the cover topics on social areas, politics, and sciences.
Six things I could never do without
1) My close friends and family
2) New innovative technologies
3) The wonder that I have for the Universe
4) A vast wealth of diverse foods
5) Always having a something to do
6) Pursuing the unknown
I spend a lot of time thinking about
... where I want to be and how to get there.

This ranges from experience in the field that I need, exams I will be taking, and decisions that will help secure my path to higher education.

... the design of my house that I will build.

A major goal of mine is to design and have that design built so that me and my future family can live wonderfully in a place that can be called home.

.. psychology and social studies. I really enjoy deeply analyzing why people act , say , and feel they way they do.

What drives us to our decisions ?
What is the purpose and meaning behind what we do?
