My self-summary
---I have had a lot of life changes since I made this and I feel I should update it---

I'm a big nerd and I love it. Comics, anime, manga, video games, RPGs, movies, TV, books, music, art, science, and technology. I love them all. I guess I'm a big kid at heart really.

I can get lost in a good story, of any type, any day of the week. I really enjoy just siting down and watching a series or something through. I played jazz trombone for a while and really developed an appreciation for jazz. Though I am rustier than a iron nail in the ocean and trombones are horrible for serenading a girl. The neighbors always get sooooo pissed.

I'm a big lover of science and technology. I love electricity and Nikola Tesla was the best. Probably a mad scientist at heart. I can even do the laugh! Bwahahahahaha! Though I will admit to being more the kinda tech guy who can build your computer from silicon chips up rather than fixing it.

If you give me problem, I will usually try to fix it. Or at least figure it out. I'm a bit too logical at times and my sense of humor can get really deadpan and smartass. I enjoy looking at the humor of a situation often, finding a laugh at the absurdity of the circumstances. But I'm always smiling at the world. And I love just watching the world and being amazed by it. And I really enjoy the simple things in life.

In a relationship, I'm a big romantic. I love going on fun dates, giving her a random gift just to see the smile on her face, or just finding a quiet corner and talking all night. No greater feeling in the world.

I have changed a good bit since I originally wrote this profile. I have found wonderful friends, friends who I treasure and love. I have found an excellent job, which always provides me with an interesting puzzle. I have moved into an amazing apartment, which I share with my friends. I have stumbled into a very active social life, despite very much being a nerd and an introvert. I have no idea how it happened. O_O My days are filled with friends and events it seems like. I would still love to find someone to share it with, however. Someone who can join me in this wonderful life.

I have also been far more into playing video games as of late. Torchlight 2, Borderlands 2, Guild Wars 2, they have all made it into my regular rotation. I think I really enjoy gamer girls too. We always seem to have the most in common. I listen to a whole lot of video game music. As of late, I have also really gotten into Homestuck. God. That webcomic/fandom is addictive. I check mspaintadventures way too often. Plud the music is stupid good as well. I also have a tumblr that I end to check often. If you get to know me, I'll send you the link to it. Though a good google searcher should be able to find it anyways. :p
*end update*
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a natural gas pipeline company. I work in a support position, troubleshooting communications and other issues that pop up. Every week provides me with a new problem to solve. Eventually, I would really like to get my master's and then go on to get my PhD, but I'm going to put it on hold for a while. Life has provided me with other opportunities and I would like to explore them for the time being. Sometimes you need to see where life takes you, even if it isn't what you thought you wanted.

I think that science and engineering can truly help people and I want to create and improve on new technologies.
I’m really good at
action games,
electrical engineering,
figuring things out,
fixing stuff,
building things,
finding the rhythm,
finding things,
enjoying my meal,
rambling on about something,
and probably other things that I can't think of.

I am apparently a rather good programmer. And I don't really enjoy programming. I went into electrical engineering because programming never felt challenging enough. Also, at that point, I found I really hate building robots from the ground up. Too much programming. *Sigh* And robots are so cool too.

I tend to pick up random habits from people. I have likened this effect to collecting tiny chibi people in my head and having them spew their nonsense out when they happen to have a thought. Try as I might, I have yet to find a better analogy.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well the red hair, I suppose. I'm more than a little geeky and nerdy and I don't hide it. I'm also a bit of a smartass, but I am usually pretty quiet til I get to know someone.

I am particularly bad at first dates for some reason. :| Once I get used to people and more comfortable with them, I am myself. It just takes me a few tries.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: I really enjoy all types of music. Things that tend to pop up on my playlist more often than not are jazz (usually big band type stuff, but I have a little of every thing), old R&B, rock, indie stuff, punk, video game tunes, jpop/jrock (can't tell the difference....), and basically anything I hear that I like. My roommate has really gotten me into dubstep, ambient stuff, and the like.

TV: I love a lot of shows. But I am currently without cable. The only thing I find myself tracking down every week is Fringe. I recently watched the new Sherlock Holmes show and loved it. Otherwise I like a lot of shows. Fringe, Warehouse 13, Eureka, a lot of sci-fi, and oh so much more. If it told a good story, I have likely watched a little of it.
I also love cartoons and animation. I have a bit of thing for giant robots. No matter what, I will at least give something with giant robots a watch. At least once. And Adventure Time is amazing. I love that show.
I love lots of anime as well. One piece and Gurren Lagann are my favorites. But I will watch tons of anime if given the chance.

Movies: Blues Brothers, A Knight's Tale, Transformers, Fifth Element, Kill Bill, Gundam Wing, and Outlaw Star are currently occupying my dvd collection. I love so many movies though. There are so many fantastic and wonderful tales out there.

Games: I really love good games. And have very fond memories of playing them. Anything with an awesome soundtrack will get me into it. I really love RPGs and the like. Some of my favorites include Chrono Trigger, most Final Fantasy's (my favorite one is FFV, FFX-2, and FF Tactics), Dragon Age: Origin, Mass Effect 2, Skyrim, Torchlight, Portal 1/2, Bastion, and many others. I have recently gotten really into Guild Wars 2.

Books: Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, Simon R. Green's books, and so other many fantasy and sci-fi books. And mysteries! I haven't had the time to really sit down and read in a long time, though. The last things I have really read have been text books. I have cleaned out entire sections of book stores before, however. And then proceeded to influence the ordering of more books, something more along the lines of what I wanted to read. Book stores are great places to grow up.

Food: I love to eat. There is so much good food. I LOVE sushi. I prefer more meat and potatoes kinda food. Pizza, burgers, steaks, and the like are favorites. But I'll try most things at least once.
Six things I could never do without
1. Computer
2. Internet
3. TI-89 (I have lost the ability to do simple math.)
4. Friends and family
5. Music
6. Glasses!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science, technology, the world, and girls.

There is a part of me that wants to figure out how to make a lightsaber.

I like to daydream a lot about stuff. I've always made my own little worlds in my head.

My head is usually a random thought generator. And then I run with it.
On a typical Friday night I am
just hanging out with friends or I am just watching TV/anime/movies or playing video games at home. We seem to have new friends show up and random parties just happen from time to time. That or parties or concerts or what not. There is always something to do as of late.

I spend a lot of time with my best friends and roommates, TashaKitty and Soulful_UU_Lynx. We watch TV shows, movie, anime and what not. And drink beer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cry like a baby during the sad scenes. I'm a big sap sometimes for that kinda stuff.
You should message me if
If you like cute, smart nerds.
If you can handle me occasionally trying to teach you physics. (I'm a great teacher!)
If you want to join me watching anime, TV, or movies.
If you are willing to join me for the occasional evil laugh. Bwahahahahahaha! See? Fun!

I really get along great with gamers and the like. Also if anyone likes homestuck, I am addicted.
