My self-summary
I’m a little Ted Mosby, Marshall Eriksen, Chuck Bartowski, Chandler Bing, 10th &11th Doctor, April Ludgate, Andy Dwyer, and Winnie The Pooh.

I’m a little random, intense, relaxed, out going, and shy (paradox city). I'm very nerdy/geeky. I make no apologies for this and hope that you're similarly nerdy/geeky in some way, shape, or form.

I prefer low-key situations/gatherings, dive bars, Netflix binges, and any kind of game... board game, video game, mildly active game (pool, mini golf, Disc Golf).

And for the Meyers-Briggs fans, I’m an INFJ… this article does a fun job of decoding that (some more accurately than others in terms of me personally, but it's a basic idea and mostly true): (it's easier to say the things that aren't really me in this link, #16... and that's it... but the organization looks awesome).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on a youtube channel with multiple series planned for release + freelance jobs.

If you're looking for a 9 to 5 guy, that's not me right now. I'm working to create a business and a brand.

I'd love to meet someone that compliments that in some way (whether through skills I don't fully have, or just in moral support/understanding). But if this is a deal breaker, then thanks for reading this far, and good luck on your search for... whatever you're looking for!
I’m really good at
Corny dad jokes...

It must be tough for a woman going through her OKC inbox to find a decent message... it's like finding a needle in a "hey"-stack :)

Listening, helping with problems, being considerate/thoughtful, being objective when the situation doesn't pertain to me, writing, creating (all manner of things), contextual/situational humor, cooking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to say it's my strikingly handsome face and cheerful disposition, but I'd have to guess it's probably my beard...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Let's see... to name a few...

Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Giver, The Zombie Survival Guide, The Golden Compass (and His Dark Materials in general, truly one of the best series of books ever), The Tao of Pooh, Hamlet, the Hunger Games series, the Harry Potter series, and The Watchmen.

Movies: Stranger Than Fiction, The Invention of Lying, The Usual Suspects, Lucky Number Slevin, Serenity, Love Actually, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Wreck It Ralph, Lego Movie, basically any Marvel movie, the horror genre overall (check out Mine Games, Circle, and The Houses October Built on Netflix, all good for very different reasons), After The Dark (interestingly cerebral movie that has a striking visual representation).

Shows: Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Firefly, Dollhouse, Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, Community, House of Cards, Pushing Daisies, Chuck, Sense8, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Top Gear, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Music: The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mumford and Sons, Radiohead, Damien Rice, Ani Difranco, Pink Floyd, and in general classic rock and current alt. rock (along with at least a mild appreciation for just about all types of music).

Food: Pretty much all food is good food... but admittedly I have a weak spot for a good burger, nachos, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, pizza (with mushroom and spinach favorite toppings)... All the things you probably shouldn't say you love on a site like this... Sushi and Chinese food are also great.
The six things I could never do without
Non-Material: Family, Friends, Good Conversation, Personal Thinking Time, Creativity, Randomness.

Material: Music, Words, Computer, Internet (damn do I hate to admit that), Card/Board/Video Games, Writing Implement/Paper (or anything comparable).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Philosophical stuff, political stuff, the next thing I'd like to create/work on, what's going on in the world, what I want for dinner... you know, the usual stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing games, enjoying some drinks, laughs... I'm also up for going out - playing pool, karaoke, trivia, cover bands, original bands (if they sound good, or it's a venue I like), drinks at a dive bar, movies, or anything else that might seem cool/fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I got both the hey-stack joke and accompanying gif from reddit #repost

Overall, I'm a pretty open book, willing to answer basically any question at any point. I just don't see the point in sharing "the most private thing" unsolicited when there's no genuine curiosity behind it.

You should message me if!
- You're a gamer girl - seriously #RelationshipGoals. This looks comfy, fun, and awesome.
- There were things in my profile that gave you this reaction.
- You're looking for someone that you can share some of your interests/hobbies with and vice versa.
-You like games: videogames, board games, card games, drinking games.
- You enjoy conversations ranging from politics and religion, to zombie survival tactics and food.
- You're looking for an eventual best friend that you can enjoy sexy-fun playtime with. (link SFW)
- You made it this far and you're still reading with some level of curiosity/interest... which is either very concerning, or it means you're insanely awesome! I'm going to guess insanely awesome...

Lastly, I think this is the kind random/weird/awesomeness of who I'm looking for:
Someone that can listen to that song and picture it being a fun, upbeat, first dance (wedding) song where the bridal party is slowly but surely brought onto the dance floor (maybe in some ridiculous pre-planned dance #ViralVideoAhead (possibly with a bit of swing dancing involved (and a dance circle toward the end (with clapping))))...

I don't know why, but whenever I hear this song I always picture how much fun that would be... call me a quasi-hippy, slightly hopeless romantic that randomly thinks about stuff like that, but at least I'm honest that sometimes those things pop into my head... sometimes it's also just the writer/director in the back of my mind picturing awesome music videos/random videos that could be shot... either way, I think it'd be fun-mazing (totally a word).
