My self-summary
I've traveled the world and ended up where I started. My life has been a series of haphazard vignettes - far from boring. I appreciate someone who can compose an email and hold a meaningful conversation. I haven't owned a TV in years and have driven more miles on motorcycles than cars.

I'll warn you that I can be very intense, likely to compensate for being an Engineer. (I have disdain for engineers, even though much of my family and some friends are part of this cult, hence I'm a nerd at heart) I can fix things though which is nice. I just got back from Australia where I lived in/built up a weary Yacht and managed to teach myself to make it move with wind. I found some awesome places but lacked anyone long term to share it with, i'd love to go explore more more exotic places in a challenging, hand on way. My match will have a bit of an edge, a loving family, affinity for small animals, a warm smile and badass attitude. I like a woman that can kick my ass when I need it =)

Thats pretty dense, end of the day, we have both worked hard to get where we are, so lets enjoy it eh?
Laugh without remembering the original joke.
Make microwave Indian food and call it a gourmet meal.
(I'm a stellar hugger and world class cuddler)
What I’m doing with my life
Just got back to Toronto after four years away so re-acclimatizing to big city life. I need to be overseas for the month of April so waiting it out. So far been on the ski hill more days than the city.
I’m really good at
I'd say I'm still a student at life, generally pretty capable and calm, though.

Quitting. I've typically worked 8 months a year which has given me plenty of time for the sea!
The first things people usually notice about me
My peg leg. Nah. I'm pretty full on and usually full of energy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Well I haven't seen any TV outside airplanes this year and the last book I've read was 100 pages on weather forecasting so going to give myself a big fail in this category lately. If you know why Richard Dawkins or Malcolm Gladwell is, we will have something in common.

As for music i've downloaded rolling stones magazine top 500 songs, most people at first say they hate my music but inevitably are singing along within minutes. Nirvana is my childhood.

As for food, tuna from the Indian Ocean is pretty tasty. Best i've ever had was a stew brewing for five days straight in winter during one of the yearly camping trips. Anything with garlic.
The six things I could never do without
Oxygen, water, family, friends, wind - I'll have to stop at five because if I start counting with the other hand i'll have to type with toes.

If you've ever seen the animals in the desert personnality quiz - I totally discard the monkey(group harmony first) then goat (abundance) then cow (caring for others) then horse (passion) and the lion last (pride)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Playing with abstract ideas, solving puzzles, saying what is on my mind, making plans, picking up new hobbies
On a typical Friday night I am
