My self-summary
Towards the end of 2011 I moved from Brookline, MA to Brooklyn, NY and my life took a turn for the better. I'm originally from Boston and I loved growing up there, but for me New York is where I need to be. I love the energy of the city, the endless amount of fun things to do, the fact that you literally see something new everyday. I like to meet new people, hear interesting stories, and get different opinions. There are obviously times when the city gets frustrating (like in the dead of summer when you're in the subway and your train car doesn't have AC), but there are shitty parts of life no matter where you live, and for me in NYC the pros far outweigh the cons.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for a small company and wear many hats everyday. It's a great learning experience. I am trying to grow my career and have fun with life at the same time.
I’m really good at
Holding good conversation, planning interesting dates, cooking, keeping up with a New York-paced life style. Texting back, or calling instead of texting too.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am outgoing and comfortable in most social settings
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Indignation, Crossing the Chasm, Moneyball, the Elegant Universe
Movies: Michael Clayton, Glengary Glen Ross, Catch Me if You Can
Food: Thai, Pizza, Sushi, Tio Pio
Music: if it's catchy I'll listen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why does Trader Joe's puts 35 gummies in its bottle of Gummy Multivitamins, when the suggested amount is 2....seriously that doesn't make any sense.
On a typical Friday night I am
With people I like, and we are usually out to dinner or at bar
You should message me if
you appreciate the nuances of good manners, think you might laugh at my jokes, and are actually interested in meeting up in person
