My self-summary
Verbs: singing, writing, reading, playing improv games, having thought-provoking conversations, being quirky.

Nouns: intersectionality, autism advocacy/allyship, psychology, musicals, Tibet, penguins, cats, shoes, Oxford commas.

Values: compassion, kindness, understanding.

Additionally: I love The Wizard of Oz more than most people. If I were going to live in a movie, I'd want to live in that one. My favorite color is orange and if I could be anything at all, I would want to be a mermaid. One day I will be a crazy cat lady. I'm looking forward to it, just a little bit.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in Northampton as a para at an elementary school. It's my second year, I like it, and I like to think I'm pretty good at it most of the time. I think my dream job would be working in an animal shelter doing outreach to at-risk kids, and in my free time I would do lots of writing and sing in as many choruses/ensembles/companies as I could.

...But in the meantime I'm trying to save money and figure out how all of that is actually going to happen.
I’m really good at
Singing. Writing. My job working with kids, sometimes. Being awkward. Describing myself as parts of speech. Caring about people. Nostalgia. Over-booking myself. Coming up with lists of things I need to do and then expertly them. Getting cats to love me.
The first things people usually notice about me
Curly hair, bright/colorful clothing combinations, or the fact that I'll stop whatever I'm doing to pet cats when I see them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Food: peanut butter, sushi, ice cream, pancakes, anything pumpkin, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Mexican...I like food. I like cooking it and I like eating it.
Six things I could never do without
1. Coffee
2. Peanut butter
3. Music
4. Cats
5. Love
6. Expression
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The state of the world and what we can do about it. Peace. The future. Freeing Tibet. Cuddling with cats. Swimming in the ocean. Mermaids. Food.
On a typical Friday night I am
at rehearsal or turning my brain off after doing things all week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty sure I don't want kids. I'm not, like, a billion percent sure I don't want them, but the idea of them just doesn't excite me, and I don't want to enter into a relationship where kids absolutely have to happen. It definitely makes dating harder, but it's just...who I am, y'know?
You should message me if
all the stuff you've read thus far doesn't make you run away screaming and you'd like to get to know me.

(You get extra points if you know what Spoonerisms are.)

P.S. I am not interested in meeting couples or in being the third member of a relationship. If that's what you're looking for, please look elsewhere.
