My self-summary
I am a pretty recent New Orleans transplant falling in love with living in California. I'm looking to explore more of the area and meet new people.

I pride myself on my sarcasm and my sense of humor. What embarrasses me most is my inability to parallel park and how my slight southern accent still comes through when saying certain words.

I like music and comedy, but usually not comedy musicians. I find puns enjoyable. I am most happy watching live music, this comes from growing up around the constant music festivals in New Orleans, I think. I'm also a big fan of tattoos and most things that are considered "nerdy." Oh, I am also really into watching NFL football games.

I'm into spontaneity, adventure and new experiences. I am always down with trying new things. In my opinion, road trips (with good music and conversation) are one of the best things life has to offer.

I'm really great at guessing the amount of jelly beans in a jar; even if I am usually wrong. However, I am not very good at writing profiles describing myself.
What I’m doing with my life
I spend my days working in the business side of the music industry. I spend my nights hanging out with friends and watching too much television. My weekends are usually spent exploring new places, taking it easy, or playing in Disneyland.
I’m really good at
Being myself, which mostly consists of a normal person with a bunch weird and quirky tendencies. Solving problems. Procrastinating in an orderly manner. Organizing things. Making most people laugh. Saying things I don't exactly mean and then trying to explain myself. Flirting via text messages. Finding new music to enjoy and collecting records. Reading books. Writing tear jerking, but heart felt letters in thank you and birthday cards. Keeping up with an embarrassing amount of television shows. Being really into watching professional football. Cooking and baking. Getting lost while driving in Los Angeles.
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually it's my sarcasm, sometimes it's my smile. I'd like to think that others find each just as pleasant. I get complimented on my eyes a lot, I suppose. I guess I don't really know. I don't think I've ever asked or anyone has ever actually told me. Let's go with my personality, everyone always notices my personality!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music excites me. Let's talk about it.

TV: Once I figured out the beauty of Netflix, it was all downhill from there...
Doctor Who, Shameless, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, The Walking Dead, 2 Broke Girls, Mad Men, Lost, Breaking Bad, The League, Freaks and Geeks, True Blood, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Sex & The City, The Carrie Dairies, Breaking Bad, The League, Workaholics, Skins, American Horror Story, Once Upon A Time, Six Feet Under, The Wonder Years, One Tree Hill, Revenge, Dawson's Creek, Hey Arnold, Girls, etc. Honestly, this list is embarassing.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family and close friends, but mostly my puppy
2. Music, live shows or music festivals
3. Spontaneity
4. Laughter
5. Life goals
6. If I'm being honest, my phone. But only to keep in touch with my family and friends back home.
On a typical Friday night I am
On a typical Friday night I am at dinner with a friend, a bar, seeing a movie, or a live show of some sort (music or comedy, usually). Most Friday's I am out with friends, but I do enjoy an occasional Friday night with Netflix. Isn't this everyone's answer though?
