There is enough negativity out there already, so be the positive force in your own.
WHO I'm looking for:
You're confident in who you are and what you want.
You're not married or in an open relationship. I understand why people do that and am not one to judge, but it's not for me.
You are not a misogynist. Honestly, why look for a relationship if you hate women? Lol
You're open minded to other people's ways of thinking even if they're not the same as your own.
You're charming, talkative, and relaxed.
You can welcome change.
You can communicate your needs in an effective way.
You're not afraid to confront issues.
You're silly sometimes. Make me laugh!
You can handle me. Not an easy task.
WHO you're looking for:
I'm impetulant, coy, sarcastic, and a chronic wise ass. I like to laugh, and do it often. Sometimes at other people's expense. Usually at my own.
I prefer a more dominant man. I like a challenge, but at the end of the day it makes me feel safe.
I'm a big kid at heart. I still love going to Wonderland and seeing how many rides I can do in one day. My daughter joins me now. ;)
I smile and laugh often.
I'm romantic and appreciate gestures.
I'm strong and am not afraid to be challenged in any aspect of life.
I'm a nerd. Video games, Sci Fi, Zombies... true story.
I'm sexually liberated. I enjoy many many things.
I have no patience for bullshit. If I think you're full of it, I'll tell you.
Be real, because you'll learn fast that i will never be anything but. :)
Telling stories (in 11th grade, I had a group of grade 9's totally enthralled by my modern English version of MacBeth. I'm not kidding)
Making people laugh
Making amazing meals with whatever I've got in my fridge & cupboards
Apparently I'm a master at driving in GTA 5. Lol
Here are a few of my faves, but the list is far too long to complete here:
The Tragically Hip, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Big Wreck, Anything involving Ian Thornley, Pearl Jam, The Doors, Alexisonfire, City & Colour, Anything involving Dallas Green, Michael Franti, Beyoncee, Bif Naked, Fiona Apple, Amy Winehouse, Linkin Park, Killswitch Engage, Joss Stone, Maroon 5, Sam Roberts, Of Montreal, Little Dragon, The Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, wicked guitar solos, crazy drums, and beats that make me want to dance. :-)
Books: I read anything - really. I haven't had the time to invest in novels lately, so I've been devouring National Geographic and writing my own pieces instead.
Movies: all things funny, thought provoking, or with explosions.
My family (even my three big brothers who pick on me relentlessly), My Friends, A journal, Music, Making out, Thunderstorms on a Sunday morning, Dark roast coffee, Skor Bars, A good shoulder massage by strong hands, My phone, Walking in the woods away from civilization, Urban adventures, Road trips to pretty much anywhere, A nice lean medium rare steak, A cold beer on a hot day, Sunsets over the water, Skyscrapers, Mountains, Shoes, Just the right nail polish colour to match that outfit, Video games, Swing sets, Those perfect bras that are comfy AND make the girls look AMAZING... I could keep going but you've stopped reading at this point.
Our differences are what makes the human race what it is.
You need a sense of humor to tolerate the likes of me.
Also if you're not an arrogant prick. I'm tired of those guys - and there are PLENTY here. Confidence and arrogance are not the same boys.
Confidence = Sexy
Arrogance = Ugly
Just keep that little gem in mind next time you catch yourself fixing your hair in a storefront window as you walk by and repeat this phrase:
I must not be a douchebag.
It will save you from your sad, sorry self.
