My self-summary
Big into history, gender studies and feminism, writing, board games, old TV shows, comic books and small, obscure museums.
What I’m doing with my life
Looking at piles of rubble and trying to visit every Edward VIII postbox in London.

Aside from that, I'm finishing my History degree before hopefully moving on to a Masters either in History or Women's Studies.
I’m really good at
I write a lot, all the time: poems, novels, plays. I've done NaNoWriMo successfully every year since 2008, and I'm sending one of my plays to the London Student Drama Festival this year.

And I like to bake! All my friends went up a clothes size last summer.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my height. At 6' 4", I'm hard to miss.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some stuff I'm really digging right now:

I'm reading a lot of comics at the moment, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Lumberjanes, Batgirl, Giant Days. I met Kate Beaton at a signing in London and she was amazing. Anything written by women or featuring prominent women characters, I'm up for reading. For novels, I really like Catherynne Valente and Genevieve Valentine at the moment.

Top three favourite films: Halloween (1978), Amadeus, and West Side Story. I'm currently obsessing over the new Star Wars, which was obviously amazing.

TV: currently getting through Mad Men. I'm a big Star Trek fan (ask to see my convention photos). I like old detective shows like Columbo, and lots of comedies like Parks & Rec or Peep Show.

Music: a whole range, from Nicki Minaj to Marilyn Manson. I tend to like anything with energy, stuff like Molotov Jukebox or Grimes or St. Vincent.

I'm half-Iranian and I've gotta say that nothing can compare to Persian food.
The six things I could never do without
The Soviet Union
80s light horror
And, most importantly, my friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Is the past fundamentally knowable? Post-structuralism is just delicious.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing rehearsals for my play, or going to dinner with some friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Boswell & Johnson are my OTP.
You should message me if
You want to come to a museum with me (I will definitely take you to Dr. Johnson's house or the London Museum of transport at some point).
