Things I like:
Daydreaming about traveling somewhere and then doing it
That fuzzy buzzy glow in my ears and head right when a great concert ends
Pizza when I'm really hungry
Pizza when I'm not even that hungry
Seeing new places
Sitting in the middle of nature
Chills down my spine from reading a book
Cold beer after hard work
Making you laugh
Things I dislike:
Clubs in the Gaslamp
The half hour of indecisive paralysis before I choose something on Netflix
UPDATE: going to NYC for Energy & Environmental Policy grad school. Look out, Manhattan.
I'm pretty good at: athletics, not getting lost in cities, coming back at the exact right time after starting the microwave and walking away
I'm pretty bad at: doing things left-handed, mario kart (the shame!), resisting free food
I'm really bad at: that thing where you pat your head and rub your belly simultaneously
Fight Club tops my list. Superbad, The Prestige, and The Fall are other favorites, and I'll watch anything that Aaron Sorkin wrote, David Fincher directed, or Paul Rudd was funny in.
Books kick ass. Last three books I read: Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (Haruki Murakami), In Dubious Battle (John Steinbeck), Infinite Jest (David Foster Wallace)
When I'm not mourning the loss of Jon Stewart, I'm digging Louie, Bob's Burgers, Jeopardy!, and Cosmos. Last Week Tonight does a great job scratching my righteous indignation itch. Game of Thrones of course. Excited for Bill Simmons' new show since he is the best.
You could reference any Calvin & Hobbes strip and I will get it.
My deep-seated preference for dental floss as opposed to dental tape
Zone blitzes! And other football strategy for which I am guaranteed to never have a practical use
Where in the world I want to travel, the nature of humanity, and other typical quarter-life crisis philosophizing
You're happy and you know it
(by that I mostly mean you have a rewarding independent life - I need to be able to appreciate you for all your interests and goals, not just ones that involve me)
