My self-summary
I like art and conversations and bars. In undergrad I discussed Virginia Woolf and Marxism and queer theory around beer pong tables, and now I'm even more obnoxious.

I'm from Minneapolis. I like riding city buses. I miss skylines. Some of my favorite things in the world are windows, box fans, dance parties, weddings, and road trips. Winter is my favorite season. I make good guacamole.

Currently living in Davis for grad school, but I'm a little wanderlusty & spend a lot of time in Nevada City, East Bay, Sacramento, LA, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
I help run a publishing & media organization, and I'm a PhD student at UC-Davis, where I also teach.
I’m really good at
comedic timing, wearing hats, punctuating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm short. I laugh loudly. I have [pretty eyes / shaved head / good beard / cool tattoos].

pretty things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
language, uprisings, gender non-normativity, poetry, food & food justice, racial justice, animal justice, economic justice, queer shit, beer, broccoli, sweaters, cool t-shirts and skirts, tattoos, wilderness, abolition, fugitivity, refuge, and, to quote a beautiful poem by Gabrielle Calvocoressi, "cities burning / if people need to burn them to get free. / My grandmother gardening / in the late light."
On a typical Friday night I am
At the bar with friends, or reading/writing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I catch myself singing 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P." to myself, but I replace the titular letters with "E-N-F-P."
You should message me if
you want to talk about cool stuff, eat good things, be cute together, or make rap songs.
