My self-summary
I'm a nerd. I love learning about things and people. I also love learning about space and religion as much as I possibly can.
I love sarcasm. Using sarcasm and having a sharp wit is the best way to get my respect, even at my expense.

I try to use humor as much as I can. Whenever it's appropriate. Also when it's not.
What I’m doing with my life
I keep myself heavily involved with a lot of the nerd and geek groups in the area. If you are looking for those communities, drop a line and I can direct you to the right people.
I’m really good at
Being sarcastic. It's an art form.
Communicating. I believe it is the key to everything.
Teaching people to accept their inner geek.
The first things people usually notice about me
Tough one, being I never ask.
Facial scruff?
My blue eyes?
My height?
Oooo! I know! My nerd shirts! Yep, my shirts are cooler than me. Awesome!!!

Now I'm sad.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
science fiction. I am a film buff. I dedicated a lot of time to learning about film. And I love nothing more than sharing films with people. My top four favorites are: The Matrix, SW- Return of the Jedi, Dogma, Tron. After that it gets more loose. V for Vendetta, Jurassic Park, Wall-E, Men in Black, Spider-Man, The Dark Knight, Triston and Isolde, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (they soooo ended up together), Stargate, Shawn of the Dead, Hellboy, Pulp Fiction, Desperado, Transformers, Up

I also watch a bit of TV: Community, Doctor Who, Eureka, Stargate, Burn Notice, Venture Brothers, Archer, 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory. I also watch a lot of syndicated cartoons; The Last Airbender, Invader Zim, Rocko's Modern Life. I love sitting down and watching Firefly or any Star Trek with friends.
Currently re-watching "The Legend of Korra".

I read Piers (X)Anthony, Philip K. Dick, and Shakespeare. I will admit I enjoy J.K. Rowling. Currently working on the "Song of Fire and Ice" series.

Current Pandora stations are: Royksopp, Gorillaz, Peter Gabriel, Yoko Kanno, and Miike Snow.
Listen to anything but Rap and Country. While I listen to a lot of other stuff there are always select bands I love: old U2, Coldplay, The Crystal Method, Daft Punk, Muse, The Police, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, The Talking Heads, NIN, Third-Eye Blind, David Bowie. My tastes usually stick to things such as: alternative rock, new wave, orchestrated electronic (cinematic), DnB. I still buy albums.

I also feel there should be a spot for games; Star Wars Battlefront, Halo: Reach, Little Big Planet, Left 4 Dead, The Mass Effect series, any Zelda game, any Mario (but I suck at them), Fable 2 and 3. I am currently playing Destiny on the PS4.
Six things I could never do without
Open Sky (I love star gazing)
The Laws of Thermodynamics (philosophically)
My Imagination (hand wave a rainbow)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Random crap. Like the word Centaur, which has nothing to do with horses. Also how would Tatooine develop an ecosystem. The zombie apocalypse; yes I have a plan even though I don't believe in the movie versions (the Zombee of Haiti exist, but that's different).

Where I can go next time I take time off. I love going to San Francisco and Seattle.

How to build costumes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Showing up where I'm called. The night usually ends with 15 nerf players at Cal Poly. You know, typical normal things. (Snicker)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I use the word "fetch".

I go to a zombie LARP.
You should message me if
I probably sound like a broken record; but, you're looking for people to play board games with. Doesn't matter if it's Monopoly and Risk, to something your friends never heard of like Space Truckers and Sentinels of the Multiverse.
Also you enjoy a nice open discussion. Anyone who knows me knows that no subject is off limits to me (except sports. I know the rules, but don't care about any teams).

You're not afraid to speak your mind. Communication is the key to everything; so beating around the bush is really a waste of time.
