It may well be a stretch to say I'm also good at writing but at the very least I'll say that I can turn a phrase when endowed the blessings of providence.
Cooking. The play of experience and perception that defines a good meal taken in good company fascinates me. No one will know that they have tasted the dash of sage in the rice or the roasted peppers ground over the salmon, yet these and a thousand other sensations will occur to them in their experience and be lashed into the gestalt of an evening. Experience is made from a billion scintillating points of sensation that we vaguely assay. A dash of pepper and holding a warm drink will move you but your memory will never record that you were gregarious because of spice...So, yes. I like cooking.

When four to five, I spent several months trying to convince my toys that I was trustworthy, that I would accept them if they'd only talk to me. I took their rejection personally, and decided to force the issue by catching them In flagrante delicto.
I snuck up on my favorite toy robot at least a dozen times, on the reasoning that he/it took the longest to turn off when I played with him so he wouldn't have time to jump into his farce if I surprised him.
