My self-summary
Born and raised in an exceptionally rural part of upstate NY. I’ve been in NYC for about 5 years and although I’ve made great strides in my acclimation to city lifestyle, my country roots often show. I need to sweat at least once a day and I don't use my iphone at the gym. I can actually go a long while without using my iphone; I get why you all are addicted to them, but it bums me out. I live in Brooklyn, work in Manhattan and enjoy having both boroughs in my daily life.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a professional creative dork. Think Mad Men with jeans and sneakers instead of suits.
I’m really good at
eating, making cocktails, cooking large quantities of food and doodling on important papers.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hopefully not my huge forehead.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books/Authors: Augusten Burroughs, Dave Eggers, Cormac McCarthy, David Sedaris, Barbara Kingsolver, Khaled Hosseini, anything that will keep my attention or is free. I'm usually reading the "must read" of 2 years ago.

Music: Radiohead, Devotchka, Junior Boys, Robyn, The Knife, MIA, Gorillaz, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gonzales, The Postal Service, Hot chip, Arcade Fire, M83.

Favorite TV Shows: Six feet under, Planet Earth, Summer Heights High, 30 rock, Mad Men, Friday Night Lights, Parks and Recreation, Homeland, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Tansparent, Jessica Jones, The Walking Dead.

Favorite Movies: Little Miss Sunshine, X-Men 2, Pan's Labyrinth, Trainspotting, Fight Club, The Incredibles, Spirited Away, Napoleon Dynamite, UP, The Color Purple, Lord of the rings, Go, Signs, The Dark Knight, Seven, Doubt, The King's Speech, Looper, Silver Linings Playbook and of course Blood Diner.

Food: I try to keep it healthy most of the time, but I have a sweet tooth and dessert is served at every meal. My last meal on earth would definitely be a huge steak with mashed potatoes and french fries, lots of garlic and truffle oil and a huge ice cream sundae with caramel, fudge, lots of nuts on a freshly baked brownie.
The six things I could never do without
Friends and family are a given, so I'll exclude them.

noise cancelling headphones
frozen yogurt
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to eat for lunch.
On a typical Friday night I am
Around people I enjoy or home watching Game of Thrones.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of bees.

Also, I cried during an episode of Game of Thrones....don't worry, I look really masculine when I cry.
You should message me if
If it feels like a good idea.
