My self-summary
Comedian, bibliophile, I am artsy as well as crafty. I enjoy pirates, Monty Python, rocking to live music, alcohol in its many splendid forms, and the Buffalo Two-Step.

I'm opinionated, boisterous, sarcastic, unabashed, sincere, honest, delightfully weird and unusual, kitschy yet elegant, eloquent and crass, with a dark sense of humor.

I write like I talk and I use proper punctuation, capitalization and spell check. Dig on THAT, brainiacs!
What I’m doing with my life
I write pop culture articles for a website, and perform stand-up comedy. My mom says I'm funny!

I've been spending more time at the beach, crashing food trucks and breweries. Swanky cocktails at dive bars, rock shows, hitting movies and BBQs with friends, scavenger hunts...

I want to get back to traveling more and renew my passport. If it's weird and wacky, I want in on it.
I’m really good at
Making Baklava, and singing The Humpty Dance at karaoke. No foolies.
Useless pop culture trivia, speaking in movie quotes, and making people laugh - either with me or at me. Either way, I win.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, my laugh, my confidence and my startling lack of cleavage.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big Vonnegut and Christopher Moore fan. I make a bee line for the True Crime section at the bookstore. Serial killers and random murderers fascinate me. I'm a CMJ: Creepy Morbid Jerk. Ha!
Dragonlance, Harry Potter, Stephen King, Ready Player One was fantastic, Gone Girl was a great read... I like books.

I love all kinds of movies and know all the words to Jaws, Ghostbusters and Back to the Future. 80s flicks, comedy, horror, thrillers, and I love documentaries.

My favorite comedians are Eddie Izzard, Mike Birbiglia, Patton Oswalt, Kyle Kinane, Chris Hardwick, Mitch Hedberg, Aziz Ansari, Jim Gaffigan, Louis C. K., Denis Leary, Chris Rock, yer mom...

I'm a Nerd Girl who loves Star Wars & Shatner era Trek, Firefly, Serenity, Tron, Logan's Run, new Battlestar Galactica...all the good nerd stuff. If the Xbox game Fallout 3 was a person, I would marry it and have its babies.

I love The State, MST3K, The Simpsons, South Park, Scandal, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, That 70s Show, In Living Color, House of Cards, Archer, Parks & Rec, most everything on Adult Swim.

I'll try just about anything. I love sushi, pasta, feta cheese, chocolate cake, ginger snaps, Chai tea, green tea ice cream, cream cheese wontons, Sangria, rum, and champagne.

I like rock, 80s crap, dance music, alt country, old school rap, classical...if it doesn't suck, I'll listen to it.
My favorite bands are Green Day, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Oingo Boingo.
The six things I could never do without
A pen and paper. I bet that counts for two things. Quality time alone, quality time with good people... a hairband to tie my hair back with and "my industrial strength hairdryer. And I can't live WITHOUT IT!"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. The past. The possibilities in everything. Observing the world and how people interact and create, and how they don't... where I'm going next in life, what I'll do when I get there, and how bright the lights will be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing stand-up, catching a movie, catching a band, reading at the bookstore, and sometimes doing laundry while making sure the cat doesn't fall off the balcony.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I live my life by a simple philosophy: WWDLRD?
What Would David Lee Roth Do?
Because he'd do it.
He'd have a gin & tonic first, but he'd do it.
