My self-summary
I wrote my senior thesis paper in philosophy about the Song of Ice and Fire series of books, if that tells you anything about how I spend my time?

I'm weird, and I'm totally fine with that. If you're weird too, maybe we should hang out?
What I’m doing with my life
Finished off two degrees, one in psychology, and another in philosophy. I'd like to go back and get a Master's, but who knows!

Looking for a new job. Hopefully I can find a job that is closer to my actual degree, instead of the random weird stuff I've been doing lately.
I’m really good at
Sarcasm, noticing trends in music or patterns in things. Remembering useless facts, singing badly when I think no one can hear. I'm also really badass at the board game Clue.

On an unrelated note, I'm decent at growing a beard. Also I just turned 31. I like to think that means I've learned a few things!
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been complimented on my smile on occasion, most people probably notice my glasses I'd assume. After hanging around me for a while, my sense of humor and my ability to sound like I know what I'm talking about even when I have no clue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love music of all kinds, especially punk, hard rock, and metal. Anything with a trumpet or sax. Current favorites include but aren't limited to:

Rise Against
The Offspring
Reel Big Fish
Rage Against the Machine
Foo Fighters
Streetlight Manifesto
Queens of the Stone Age

As far as books go, I really enjoy epics. I do, however, enjoy a pretty wide variety of books, and I read a lot. Particular favorites are: The Kingkiller Chronicles, A Song of Ice and Fire.

I'm reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy again. It's still absolutely wonderful.

Movies. Let's see, I like zombie movies, thrillers, action, comedy. Pretty much anything as long as it's not too sappy. Some of my favorites are:

Shaun of the Dead, Clerks 1 and 2, 28 Days Later, High Fidelity, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Back to the Future, The Mighty Ducks, Superbad, Zombieland, Children of Men, Saved!, Donnie Darko, Memento, Ant-man

A recent favorite is Whiplash, as well as Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Should probably include TV shows here too, since I spend a lot of time trying to keep up with quite a few of them...Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Arrow, The League, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, to name a few.

My current favorite is The Flash. One of my all time favorite comic book characters!
The six things I could never do without
1. Books, lots of books to keep my mind sharp.
2. Music, life would be boring without it.
3. As much as it pains me to say it, the internet.
4. Occasional days where I just do nothing, it's nice to recharge.
5. Even though it would be better for me to be without it, Netflix or any other way of streaming video. I waste so much time, but it's so fun.
6. A somewhat cold climate. I don't like super hot summers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Time travel.
How if pokemon were real, we'd outlaw battling them since it's essentially cockfighting.
How to build a spacecraft that could be inhabited by multiple generations of people. It's the only way we'll be able to effectively reach other habitable planets, unless I invent warp drive...
On a typical Friday night I am
Binge watching something on Netflix or Hulu. Maybe out for a drink?

So glamorous and exciting, I know!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'd admit to you in person probably, not on the internet for everyone to see!
You should message me if
you have the ability to time travel.
