My self-summary
I'm 23 years old, and I've been in the Army since I was 18. I've been deployed twice, once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. I love my job as a Medic, and I plan on staying as one for a few more years until I head off to school for chemical engineering.

I trust easily; I open myself up to anyone and everyone, and really do not see the point in keeping secrets. I can be a bit brutal and/or off-putting with this, because neither a sense of shame or embarrassment belong to me. If I think something's messed up, I will find a way to let you know.

I love laughing, and making other people laugh; my favorite form of humor is sarcasm, but I make fun of myself just as much as other people. I tell really groan-inducing jokes when I can't stop myself. I spend a lot of time reading, and writing when the mood hits me. I try to focus on enjoying the little things, and I can have fun on a weekend without spending a disproportionate amount of money. Hiking, fishing, swimming, going to the gym, spending some time at a firing range, cooking, watching movies, and the obligatory playing of video games are some of my favorite activities.

I'm a goofy bastard, I really am. I will make a joke out of anything (Yes, I KNOW I have a grumpy looking photo. Sorry.) and as stated earlier; I love laughing and will do anything to achieve it.
What I’m doing with my life
Er... Mainly just existing and working, right now. I spend a lot of my time in the gym, too. A few years from now I'm heading back to school.
I’m really good at
I'm good at practicing medicine and caring for people, writing, video games, shooting, and bloody well throwing heavy things around!
The first things people usually notice about me
One of two things; Either that my left ear is pointy (yes, like an elf), or that I have a really oddly placed scar above my right eye. That's from being stabbed with a sword.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, most anything by L.E. Modesitt Jr., George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series, Tad Williams, and the Gunslinger series by Steven King.

The Book of Eli is my favorite movie, but I tend to love any post-apoc film. I also enjoy the shit out of war movies, but only the ones that have some semblance of reality in them. The Hurt Locker can go suck it, Iraq isn't like that.

My two favorite TV shows are One Piece and Doctor Who (Matt Smith, thank you), followed by A Game of Thrones, since it's just such an accurate version.

I enjoy most any music, especially rap, classic rock, and any sort of "classical rock," such as Apocalyptica.

Hrm, foods... I like the food that is A: Kosher, and B: delicious.
Six things I could never do without
A book to read, people to help, my hands, my sense of humor, and my family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, where America is headed, what could be done to fix it, war, medicine, and video games.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying my free day. Most of the week I control my diet very rigidly, go to the gym, and try to be a healthy git. Friday is my day to cut loose, so I'll do everything and anything. Hurray!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I started balding at 17, get over it. God made some men with perfect heads, and the rest he gave hair to.
You should message me if
You decide that damn well want to, for one. An even bigger reason would be if you wanted to go to the gym with me!
