My self-summary
Moving to Seattle for grad school soon (exact location tbd, but going to UW).

A friend once said that I liked my coffee black and my whiskey neat. I'm more of an espresso fan, though.

Not artistic, but love art. Well, passion. That energy people get when they talk about or do something they love.

I don't sleep enough and read too much. As such, I despise mornings and would probably be nocturnal if given the option.

I'm attracted to the darker side of life. I have an active fetlife account, make of that what you will.
What I’m doing with my life
Preparing for grad school while plotting my next ridiculous weekend adventure. Also, thoroughly abusing Kindle Unlimited.
I’m really good at
Finding plot holes in movies and spoiling crime shows.

Inappropriate jokes.

Convincing dogs to like me (I'm not quite as successful with cats, though. Then again, maybe most cats just don't like anyone).
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm usually pretty quiet until I get to know someone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy reading almost everything, but a few that stand out: I Am the Messenger , The Book Thief, The Bell Jar, Millenium Trilogy, A Song of Ice and Fire, Throne of Glass

Movies? What Dreams May Come, The Crow, Serenity, Gladiator, Millenium Trilogy (Swedish), Boondock Saints, Constant Gardner (also a good book), V for Vendetta, Pathology.

Shows -- Spring Awakening is probably my favorite. Generally, I enjoy the occasional theatre. Local shows, Indy, Folk, etc.

Television -- Honestly I really watch TV much. Firefly will always be a favorite. The Man in High Castle is good, too.

Music -- Pretty much everything. Beyond the Black is my current choice. Classical, Indy, Folk, Symphony Metal. Brahms to Decembrists to Fleet Foxes, Gregory and the Hawk, The Weepies, to Nightwish and Epica. It's all over the place.
Six things I could never do without
Books (Or the necessary evil that has become a kindle due to a period of frequent travel)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's on the other side of a black hole? How Firefly could get cancelled. And why Penguins are so well dressed.
On a typical Friday night I am
The same thing we do every night, Pinky... Adventuring. And reading. Or destroying some pub trivia.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can use a straight razor and know how to wear a bow tie. If I could meet anyone it would be Heath Ledger's Joker.
You should message me if
You're looking for a swing dancing buddy.

Also if you need an adventuring partner.

Or any reason, really.
The two of us
