My self-summary
This isn’t natural to me- listing all of my positive attributes, but I am in a great place in my life where I am ready to find love, so listing my attributes is worth it. Polling my family and friends made it easier for me to be honest about myself. This is what they said: I’m friendly, genuine, playful, considerate, thoughtful (this one came up a lot), hilarious, charming (thanks Mom!), chivalrous. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how modest I am after listing all of that.

I love to travel.

Travel, for me, is more than relaxing on the beach. I like to explore interesting cities, indulge in their food and explore their culture. I've been fortunate to visit so many great places. My favorites? Greece, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and India.

And you are?

Hopefully you’re a kind-hearted woman with a playful sense of humor. You have a taste for travel and exploring other cultures and you’re also passionate about enjoying life in the Bay Area. And you’re a self-proclaimed lifelong learner, just like me.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m a seeker of experiences and knowledge

I embrace learning and exploring, both the world and myself. I like to expand who I am by seeing, doing, asking, and questioning. Which led me to leave my career in finance and pursue a masters in psychology. I’m a therapist and I work with children. It’s the best job a person could have. I also paint, play with dogs, and I’m an awesome uncle!
I’m really good at
being an uncle, making salsa, giving wedding speeches (5 so far), and pretending that I know how to paint.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. I won a prize for it when I was 8.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: pupusas, steak, dark chocolate, sushi
Music: Motown, Bloc Party, alternative
Movies: The Godfather, Airplane, Lion King
TV: GoT, 60 Minutes, Daily Show
Books: Count of Monte Cristo, Goldfinch, Siddhartha, East of Eden, paint theory/history books
The six things I could never do without
1. Gamblin brand paint
2. Fresh air
3. Good company (Life for me is about connection.)
4. Reddit (I’m admittedly an addict!)
5. New books
6. Hoodies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what the future will look like for my nephew and what I can do to improve it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Winding down the week with friends, possibly at a local bar playing boardgames. For a more low-key night I might be doing laundry and catching up on my DVR.
You should message me if
If you want to go rollerskating at the Church of 8 Wheels. Or if you want to enjoy good conversation and some time outdoors.
