My self-summary

Some random facts about me:
I lived in California during elementary school, Germany during High School, and New York during College.

I am easy going, friendly, funny, pale, infinitely patient, respectful, considerate, chivalrous, compassionate, affectionate, honest, and absolutely confident. I'm also sarcastic and corny.

I know when to be playful and silly, and when to be serious and classy.

I am polyamorous and here only to expand my circle of friends by meeting new and interesting people. I don't expect you to be poly, just open minded enough to have a friend that is. I do not expect that if we meet up that we will date or hook-up (I'm too picky to be that easy). I do expect honesty (you cannot offend me). In my experience, meaningful and quality relationships grow from friendship; they are not simply created out of thin air or as the result of a message sent from a dating site. Rather, such relationships are cultivated over time in the vats of friendship.

I'm enjoy playing various types of games; RPG's, CCG's, CMG's, Board games, PS4, XBOX 360, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
I am the Head of Quality Assurance for an online software company. I use critical thinking skills to find problems with software. This requires a high degree of attention to detail, creativity, organization, tenacity, and patience.

I've been working on getting into better shape. This has meant a change to more healthy eating habits as well as exercising regularly. I've even taken up a bit of running.

I spent a couple years doing Video Game Design. I created game concepts, prototyped those concepts, did a little programming, art, voice acting, and management. It was a hectic job to say the least with hours well beyond compensation.

I've been in two feature length independent films as a lead actor (Stupid Cupid (2006) on IMDB).

My screenplay is finished and I'm trying to figure out how to do something with it.

The first draft of my fantasy novel is finished at about 83,000 words. The first draft of my Sci-Fi novel is finished at about 55,000 words. So far the feedback for both has been positive. Now I just need to get my butt in gear and work on some second drafts!
I’m really good at
... public speaking.
... making people laugh.
... telling a story.
... improvisation.
... listening.
... speaking with a British accent.
... speaking with a Chinese accent.
The first things people usually notice about me
are that I wear a lot of black and I have an inviting smile and a friendly aura.

If they are sitting at a nearby table, it's probably that the people with me are laughing uncontrollably.
Six things I could never do without
1. Good friends to entertain
2. A means to express my creativity
3. Opportunities to meet new people
4. Laughter, both mine and that of those around me
5. A sense of purpose
6. Something black to wear
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Recently I've been thinking about the people I've lost in my life.

Sometimes things like relativity, quantum mechanics, human perception and it's relation to the passage of time.

On the less serious side I'm always coming up with plots for role-playing games, ideas for screenplays, video game concepts and changes to game mechanics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately I tend to be at home decompressing after a busy work week. Sometimes I end up at Salt Lake Coffee Break.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
here is that being honest is a reflex for me, not so much a choice. If you ask me a question I will give you my honest answer, even when doing so may not be in my best interest.
You should message me if
... you're interested in sharing a laugh over chai.
... you're interested in someone to go snowboarding with.
... you're looking for a friend to do something fun outdoors.
... you like to cook with others.
... you have an excess of bacon and would like to share.
