My self-summary
Hi! First and foremost, note that I'm married, plan to stay that way, and would love to find people who would like to have fun with my wife and me, or just me.

That being said, I love meeting new people! So don't hesitate to chat.
I'm a thinker, I spend way too much time in my own mind. When I break out of it, I love baseball, computing problems (another excuse to analyze stuff), cooking, and talking to strangers.

I love to make new friends while stuck in line at the grocery store or DMV.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working in IT for an oil company, after 6 months of being a stay at home dad. I'm happy to be back to work, as home was more work than anything!

I've recently embarked on a plan to lose 75lbs. I had lost 37 at one point, but I fell off the wagon and put it back on. Here's to eating properly in 2015!
I’m really good at
Catching grammatical errors, I apologize in advance if I spell check your IMs.

I'm good at solving computer related problems, so if you need anything fixed, I'm your guy.

I also make some fantastic homemade ice cream!
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue eyes, and that I'm usually smiling and having fun.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: What's a book?
Movies: The Usual Suspects, Ocean's 11 and 13 (12 sucked), The Matrix Trilogy and Sweet Home Alabama.
Music: I enjoy a variety of music, I really like the 'good' stuff in any genre. Lately, my favorite stuff has been anything by The Zac Brown Band and I'm eagerly anticipating the release of their new album.
Food: I LOVE SHELLFISH, crab and lobster would be the best. I love a good steak (generally prepared by me, since I can grill up a fillet mignon as well as most restaurants at 1/2 the price)

TV: Finally this can sort of fit this category as "Shows" House, Grey's Anatomy, Family Guy and How I Met Your Mother are some of my favs.

By the way,
I have no idea who these "Similar" guys over here --->
are, but I assure you that I'm one of a kind, so stop looking at them and get back to writing me that message!
The six things I could never do without
First, my newish family. My wife, our daughter and her son are all amazing. I don't know how I survived on my own without them.

Then in no particular order...

1) Gadgets (Cell Phone, Computer, TV, PDA etc)
2) Comfortable Bed
3) My Niece and Nephew (They are SO much fun!)
4) Norman the Yellow Lab
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I will make the best possible life for my daughter.
On a typical Friday night I am
Tired... but still trying to do something fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I drove to Chicago on one day's notice to see a Twins game in September of 2009, then followed it up with a trip to Kansas City 3 days later!

To prove the "make new friends" assertion above, I still have people on facebook whom I met in the parking lot at US Cellular Field in Chicago.

I'm going to miss being within walking distance of the ballpark... I guess I'll be following my Twins on TV starting this spring.
You should message me if
You read that I'm married and you're ok with that. It's not changing.

You like to chat, you're a Twins fan, you need help with your computer, or you liked anything you've read so far.

I'm always up for a good conversation.
