My self-summary
I'll figure this out eventually, right?

I'll just put some basics up here because I know I feel like it's harder for me to start a conversation when everything about someone is already in their profile, maybe that's just me tho :)

Originally from Chicago, been living in/around GR for a few years, well of almost a decade can still count as a few, damn that's gone by fast

I'm looking for someone smart with a good sense of humor. Being active is a big plus. Not like crazy work out everyday, but at least enough to keep healthy. Let's go for a bike ride! I know it probably sounds a little sappy, I'd like to find "the one" pretty soon. Someone to live my life with & maybe start a family with.

Speaking of family, most of my family is in/around the southern Chicagoland area, so I try to get down there as much as I can.

I like to cook, nothing super fancy though, although I have been known to take on a project here or there with mixed results. (I think I've come up with a really good salsa recipe!)
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from GRCC with a degree in recording technology, but decided that's not what I wanted to do, so for now I work at a brewpub here in town.

Currently renting a house with room mates.

I've recently started bike riding a lot, mostly to work & back, but always trying go for longer & farther rides. And looking for more people to ride with
I’m really good at
Everything I do :) not trying to be cocky here, I just believe that if you're gonna do something, do it well. That being said, if there's something I'm bad at, I either don't do it, get better at it, or it's something trivial enough that it doesn't really matter anyway :)

Saying the wrong thing :/

I do rock some Tetris tho :)

Using [possibly] too emoticons

Something I've never really been good at or able to improve on is that I'm a terrible dancer. I'm also pretty bad at starting conversations with people I really want to talk to. But I'm working on it.
The first things people usually notice about me
hair, beard, eyes, but not always in that order

I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I still want kids, don't get me wrong, for the longest time I couldn't wait to have a kids, but now I just wonder if I'm getting too old to realistically want to have some of my own

why so many people have such a strong hatred of "text speak"

how OKC determines how far away someone is, I've seen a bunch of people on here from the same town with varying distances. I wonder if it actually knows where we all are, if that's the case, that's a little creepy, but it also means that I've got some hot neighbors :)

why, OKC shows me so many so called "matches" from Chicago, Wisconsin, and Ohio instead of around GR

if I use parenthesis and/or smilies/emoticons too much

if people have started using "clever" more often because of Doctor Who, or if that's just why I'm noticing it

why there's been a lot of profiles quoting the Piña Colada song lately

If the quality of guys on this site has dropped recently. It seems that more women's profiles are saying that they're not just looking for sex, which leads me to think that there's more düshbags on here ruining things for the rest of us.
On a typical Friday night I am
Now that I'm working at a bar again, I'm pretty much working every Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't have my bed directly under a ceiling fan because I've always had this fear that its going to fall on me while I sleep

I can also be pretty awkwardly shy when meeting people
You should message me if're looking for a someone to have some fun with, get to know & maybe build a lasting relationship with.'re looking for someone to drink beer & watch Doctor Who with're looking for someone to drink beer & watch hockey with're a good person, I'm sick of dealing with düshbags* (yes I spell düshbag with a "ü")

*after reading a bunch of profiles say that something similar, I wonder if anyone ever reads that & thinks, "that's too bad, I'm a pretty shitty person &/or a düshbag, guess I can't message her/him

...I already messaged you

...ya want to

...if I visited your profile a few times :) no, really, like I said above, for reason the more I want to start up a conversation, the harder for me it is sometimes, I just always feel like I'm saying the wrong thing, or something cliché

...if any of this sounds like a good time to you:
The two of us
