My self-summary
I want to be an artist, 2D hand drawn style. I would love to work on an animated show. Working on my portfolio (practice, practice, practice). I try to see stand up shows at least once a week. I have been up a few times myself, just for fun. I also try to see live music a couple times a month(see profile for bands/artists). . I love music and comedy especially those ones below that you have probably never heard of. I love comedy podcasts specifically Red Bar Radio, Nobody Likes Onions, Gentlemen Scumbags, the Nerdist and Grandma's Virginity. I play video games but not excessively. I love riding my bike, hiking, camping and traveling to awesome public transit friendly cities(Portland!). Chicago is my next city to conquer.
What I’m doing with my life
Working on my own art. Practice, practice, practice... wishing I hadn't wasted my time with other majors back in college.

Learning how to retouch in Photoshop to suppliment/replace my income.

Selling wine, beer and liquor.

Eating healthy, but not afraid to get something awesome.

Bike commuting on purpose(I do have a car).

Learning to cook more things(already good with all kinds of meats), I eat a lot more veggies now so I am working on more recipes using a variety.
I’m really good at
Bringing shy people out of their shells. Having conversations with strangers. Computer/tech stuff, hence the schooling for animation. I'm fairly artistic, decent at drawing. Was an instrumental music major(French horn and trumpet) way back so i have some musical talent somewhere. Trimming my beard(that took some practice).
The first things people usually notice about me
My beard... I swear, at least once a day I am compared to Zach Galifianakis and usually not by name... "Hey you look like that guy from The Hangover" The only resemblance is that we are white and have beards... I would KILL for his beard though.

In my best Jerry Seinfeld, "What's the deal with these facial(septum, lip, nose, eyebrow etc) piercings?" Seriously though, not into it.

Why so many girls on this site won't message first even when they are interested....
On a typical Friday night I am
Fridays and Saturdays are dumb. On any night I would ideally be out with friends, having a drink and watching live music or comedy.
You should message me if
Want to hang out, see a show, have a few drinks and a good time. You get all of my stupid 80s/90s tv references. You make them...

You DON'T have a picture of yourself and your three dumb friends at a club, on a weekend, in your dumb dresses, with your hand on your waist. This is my equivalent to a shirtless bathroom cellphone photo.

You are short, adorable and wear little to no makeup(I'm allowed one looks based thing right?).

You can keep up with me on bike rides and hikes(aka healthy, somewhat athletic).

I live in Silverlake so if you live there, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Downtown etc. that's a nice bonus.

You want to actually message me first and not look at my profile like 3 times and expect me to message you.

Also if we end up talking online for more than a few messages can we PLEASE text, IM or whatever. It's real time and SO much easier.
The two of us
