My self-summary
Things that make me happy include sunny days, quality time with my friends, an especially good Wait Wait Don't Tell Me Episode...and puppies. I love puppies. And older dogs. I don't discriminate.

I'm pretty quiet until you get to know me, and then I'll be the loudest person you ever met. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I'm often called silly or weird, but if I make you crack a smile, I'm happy.
What I’m doing with my life
I've worked on political campaigns, in field, for several years. I was a field organizer for President Obama, and I also worked on the Terry McAuliffe campaign, a state senate race in Virginia, and a Congressional race in NY.

Working 16 hour days with no weekends and no days off is no longer sustainable. Currently temping while I try to figure out what's next.
I’m really good at
Plant Identification
Quoting Star Wars
Making people laugh
The first things people usually notice about me
I think my height, since I am so short. Maybe my laugh, or my voice, they're both pretty distinct (or so I've been told).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books by Jane Austen, "Of Mice and Men", and the Harry Potter series (Fred, George, and Snape are my favorite characters).

The original Star Wars trilogy are my favorite movies of all time. They're quite quotable. Try me.

Current shows I watch include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Sherlock, and House of Cards. I'm working on catching up on Doctor Who and It's Always Sunny. Of course, I think Seinfeld eps are pretty classic.

I really like Italian, Greek/Mediterranean, and Indian food. I also love quesadillas.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics/policy. Even though our country has a pretty messed up system, it's still way better than not having a democracy at all.
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time out for drinks with my friends or sometimes even working out at the gym.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate status symbols...but I love my mac.
You should message me if
Anything about me seems interesting to you, or you think we would get along. I'm pretty shy and have a hard time being the first one to write a be brave for both of us. :)
