My self-summary
I am a professional kite flyer.

I got my Bachelors a few years ago at Radford University in bs'ing and made it all the way to Columbia University in New York where I got my Masters in sarcasm and student loans. After graduating, I decided to put my Masters to good use by setting up wedding lights and eating free wedding cake.

Afterwards I got a job as a Cardiovascular Tech thanks to my ability to quickly Google anatomy questions while on the phone. I now travel a lot designing cancer treatment plans, which is kind of neat because I'm *fairly* sure that's what they were trying to teach me all those years ago.

I also have a guitar, and I'm not afraid to use it.

The reddit TL;DR - If you genuinely enjoy getting lost in the woods, relatively witty banter, playing music, or sharing epic loot I'm fairly sure we'd get along great.
What I’m doing with my life
Living it! Or eating Thai food and watching Netflix.
I’m really good at
Playing music. Being open. Surfing. Conversation. Travelling. Buying fancy beer and pretending I know what I'm talking about.
The first things people usually notice about me
This is such a weird question. Who asks people what they first noticed about them? I got nothing!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books; All. I just finished The Catcher in the Rye and came to the conclusion that all my high school English teachers were wrong; this is a terrible book. Favorites include A Fraction of the Whole, Wool, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Dune...

Movies; Almost all. I'm usually pretty far behind though. Big fan of the MCU, and generally whatever else is on Netflix.

Shows; All! Firefly, Boondocks, Angel, Friends, Dexter have been recent rewatches although we don't talk about anything past the fourth season!

Music; All minus country. Sorry country fans.

Food; Super all! I'm fairly sure I put a Thai kid through college at the restaurant up the road. And I go to the sandwich shop so often they invited me to their pool party. Maybe I should learn to cook more?
The six things I could never do without
My guitar
Family (Most days)
Sense of adventure
A good book
A list of six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I forgot to do during the day. What I've procrastinated doing during the day. How if I stopped sitting here thinking about it and started doing it I'd have been done with it all by now. How much more comfortable this sofa is then doing the aforementioned things. How Netflix is like RIGHT THERE! How I'll still have time to do those things after just one more show.

Seriously, I'm amazed anything gets done.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting around a campfire with some friends, playing music with people, catching up on terrible television shows, spending too much money on beer I can't pronounce, playing some games with some fun people.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That if I'm in a car with the windows down, I will sing loud and out of key. All the time, everytime.
You should message me if
Ah, just do it! Life's too short!
