I'm in a polyamorous relationship and I'm looking for people who would be interested in exploring this lifestyle with me. Or at least aren't afraid of dating a guy that has more than one partner. Note: I am not a unicorn hunter, meaning I'm not trying to find someone for my wife and I to share, and I'm certainly not looking for a toy to be discarded when I/we get bored. I'm just looking for a casual dating situation and hoping to find one that I can grow into a second primary relationship eventually. One step at a time though. I/we are open to the idea of dating an already established couple as well.
Just because you're dating me (hypothetically) doesn't mean I expect total monogamy to me. You'd still be free to date others as you like. I'm not the jealous type at all. Well that's not entirely true. I do feel jealousy at times, but the difference with me compared others is that I can recognize it, process it, figure out what the cause of it is, and let it go. Most of the time that requires me to talk to my partner(s) about it. Turns out communicating with people and total honesty work... Who knew?
Not fun part... I was recently burned big time with a relationship. Long story short, lack of communication and me having to leave the country for an extended period (for my job) lead to some heartbreak. We're both still hurting from the mistakes we made, but we're also trying to rebuild a friendship and at least stay on good terms with each other. Things are getting better for me and with any luck I can keep that trend going.
I wholeheartedly embrace open and honest communication with my partners, (lesson learned the hard way) so if there is something bothering you I want to know about it. I also want to know what is working well. This way I can fix the problems before they get uncontrollable and I can keep doing what is working.
Now some other basic info...
Finally got around to taking that four letter personality type test. Apparently I'm an INFJ, meaning slightly introverted, intuitive, and sometimes emotional. I think it's pretty accurate.
I'm a big fan of rock music but I'll listen to just about anything except most rap. Some is ok, but it isn't my first choice.
I have a motorcycle and ride it almost everyday, at least to and from work.
I'm a bit quirky and a bit of a geek/nerd. I enjoy pretty much anything sci/fi. I enjoy outdoor activities as well, but I don't go out as much as I would like. My time is kind of limited with my job.
I have a crazy and twisted sense of humor. Seriously, I joke about things that should probably never be joked about.
I am a very kinky person. If your curious about that side of me, feel free to ask or check out my fetlife profile if you have one there. I have the same screen name on both sites. This aspect of my life is very important to me and is an integral part of many of my recent relationships, including my marriage. I won't ever try to coerce someone into venturing into this lifestyle, but I have found that most people who are polyamorous are also into, or at least open to exploring kink.
Exploring myself and my new home state. I've only lives here for about a year and a half, and a lot of that I've spent out of the country, but I do love the PNW!
Working toward a new job where I can work fewer hours.
Hoping to find a relationship that will grow into more than just a friend or lover.
Music - Rock is my preference (Shinedown, Halestorm, Disturbed, Nickelback, Three Days Grace, Static X, System of a Down, Skillet, Flyleaf, Icon for Hire, The Letter Black, Paramore). I'll listen to just about anything.
Movies - Action, Thriller, Horror, Sci Fi (Star Wars, Start Trek (everything without Shatner), The Expendables, Die Hard, Final Destination, Saw, etc.)
TV - Doctor Who, Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, House, CSI, Bones, White Collar, How I Met Your Mother, and Star Trek (Everything from The Next Generation on, the classic episodes are just too cheesy for me). Yeah, I'm a bit of a TV junkie.
1. My job (or at least a job)
2. My motorcycle
3. The internet
4. Someone to love
5. Someone else to love
6. Sex, especially the kinky kind
4 and 5 can be physical, emotional, or both. It's all good to me.

You've found something intriguing about my profile.
