My self-summary
I'm a fun loving, intelligent guy with a devilish sense of humour. I've traveled around the world, worked at an international law firm in Beijing and camped out with camels in the Sahara Desert while volunteering in North Africa. I love trying out new restaurants (or sampling anything with caffeine) and going on adventures - though having a partner in crime would be nice. I'm currently in Ottawa pursuing a career in law and international affairs.

Originally from Vancouver, I have been lucky enough to have visited more than 10 countries and 4 continents so far, both for work and leisure, but I hope to visit many more and return to the ones from before. Travel and other cultures are two great passions of mine.

My personal passions are gaming (heavily into turned based strategy) and older console titles such as Megaman. In addition making people laugh is high on my list, as well as having great conversations or just being silly.

Academically speaking I love law, history and politics, both listening to someone's outlook on these aspects (and life!) or helping others to understand different facets about them.

Sadly I probably spend more time gaming and day dreaming about the future more than I should, but it always pushes me towards my goals.

I currently hold a 4 year bachelors degree from the University of British Columbia in International Relations and Law and Society, an associates degree in mediation and a TESOL teaching certification.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently finishing up my studies in Civil law this April, before started on my J.D. and M.A. in September.

Not satisfied with only spending my time studying at a university I also work for one, teaching professors how to be better teachers and not just researchers. Additionally I moonlight as a consultant concentrating on Asia and the West.

I have also been working with a few people from my community on a social housing and addictions center to help relieve the burdened operations that are currently in Ottawa.

When I am not doing anything revolving around the above, my time is spent gaming or simply day dreaming.
I’m really good at
Making people smile. If I am out with people or at work and the passes without someone laughing, I have failed in my mission.

Other than that, strategy games such as civilization and making spicy dishes.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and tendency to always be jovial! Oh and my nice shirts.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about other cultures and countries aaand maybe space travel.

What to cook for dinner is also high on my list (spoiler alert! It is usually something spicy).
On a typical Friday night I am
I could be doing anything! Nothing is really typical about my Friday nights with the variables of life.

Sometimes it is as simple as working on a paper or going over a legal article. Other times you can find me out with friends having a drink and chatting about how best to save the world or deal with crime.

Sometimes my Fridays are best spent simply gaming and recharging my batteries with some Civilization, Megaman or Planetside.
