My self-summary
I'm hoping this'll give me the chance to meet some people I'd otherwise never get the opportunity to. I just started a career in software development and I'm just sort of enjoying living life for the moment. I want to find someone that I can look forward to spending my free time with, ideally somebody with a few shared interests, and a few that are all their own. In general I'm an easy going dude and I get along with just about anyone. I have a good sense of humor, and I love finding new stuff to geek out over. If any of that sounds like a person you'd enjoy being around, I'd love to meet you.
What I’m doing with my life
Just generally working on putting a proper life together. Trying to build on my career as a software developer, save money, pay off debt. The usual young adult struggle or whatever.
I’m really good at
I'm told I'm a great judge of character. Its very rare for me not to like someone after getting to know them, and if I do, its usually for a good reason. I'm also sorta handy, I like fixing and tinkering with stuff, and I love helping people out.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing people usually notice is that nothing really bothers me or gets under my skin. I'm almost always laidback and cheerful. Its either that or they notice my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like weird stuff. Cult classics, dorky TV shows, electro music, and fiction novels. Some examples-

Books: Tom Clancy novels, The Bourne books, corny game and movie novelizations

Movies: Catch me If you Can, The Departed, Event Horizon, Equilibrium, Bunraku, Revolver, Fifth Element

Shows: Top Gear, Archer, Firefly, Community, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, South Park

Music: Justice, Dillon Francis, "Love, Robot", Purity Ring, anything Anthony Green does, Coheed & Cambria, Weatherbox

Games: Dark Souls, Mass Effect, Metal Gear, Mirror's Edge, Street Fighter, Metroid, old RPGs, all games ever...
The six things I could never do without
My cat and my car, that's it really. Other stuff is cool but I couldn't imagine being without my cat or the car. If I had to choose the rest would probably be like my computer, cell phone, a good pair of shoes, and a good chair.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My hobbies mostly, I love obsessing over the goofy and nerdy stuff that I'm into. Also whatever video game I've been playing or show I've been watching.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually just at home, winding down from the week with a 6 pack
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty open about this kinda thing, but it's a lot more fun to save for an actual conversation.
You should message me if
Message me if you are interested In chatting, or maybe grabbing a drink sometime. I'm mostly looking for a romantic connection but meeting people is always fun.
