My self-summary
First and foremost I am a person who loves to have fun with everything I do. I'm a professional during the week, but I work hard so that I can play harder. Love to travel and adventure both around LA and out in the rest of the world when I can. I come from a good family background, am intelligent, and have my life together where it counts.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm living in LA and trying to do something with my career. I work in the financial services area designing and maintaining retirement plans for small businesses. Might not be a forever thing, but for now it suits me fine and pays the bills in this ridiculously expensive city. I spend lots of times with my friends doing whatever we can find to entertain ourselves. I am adventurous and will try anything to have fun. I feel like anything is an enjoyable hobby for me, and it's more about the company i keep than anything.
I’m really good at
being a good friend to the people I care about. I'm also a good writer and hope to have something published in the future to try a creative career path. I'm also a really good social planner when my friends need someone to put together our next outing. I have played piano for 23 years so I think I've picked something up there over that span.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and eyelashes. I apparently have dark mysterious eyes and long eyelashes that make everyone jealous. Apparently having long eyelashes is some holy grail to girls. I don't get it, they get in my eyes more often than not.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite authors are Crichton, Cussler, Grisham, and most Mystery/Thrillers out there. Movies are varied, and love everything from a blockbuster action flick to a small indie film. Music I tend towards Pop, Rock, some Dance, Punk, and Alternative. Occasionally I'll put in some classical when I need to unwind or find a piece I want to learn on the piano.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, Family, Travel, DVR, Socializing, and my Soul
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to spend my next vacation and who I should spend it with. Where to go out in LA, what the next best restaurant to try is, and where to get a good bottle of wine. I spend a lot of time planning out my next writing projects in my head and spinning story ideas through my mind.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've spent years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I got a college degree in Business so i could settle down and make tons of money, live in a big house, and impress everyone around me with my affluence. Now I'm starting to think i would throw it all away for the chance to explore and see the world. I also think that being gay provides a much more interesting life than being straight, and I would trade it for anything. I'd rather be different and have a chance break the mold rather than be just like everyone else trying to live up to an ideal life that hasn't changed in centuries. Oh, and I can kind of be a clutz at times. I try not to let people notice, but I'm not sure I succeed all the time.
You should message me if
You have a sense of adventure, are outgoing, and want to meet someone who is the same way. If you have a great sense of humor, treat people with respect, and don't conform to what the community tells you being gay should be. You don't have to have your shit together one hundred percent, but be willing to move towards some kind of goal, even if you don't think it is for forever. It's not a bad thing to change things up in your life every few years. Keep things exciting.
