My self-summary
I am an intelligent, offbeat, interesting, open , living in New York. Enjoying every minute of it. I enjoy exercising my mind --- reading, writing (pushing myself this year), independent film, and culture (esp. crazy underground 'stuff') in general.

I take care of my self...pushing myself to run harder (planning a marathon this year...my second), ski when I can, and spend as much time in Central Park as possible.

I am intelligent, edgy, and fun
What I’m doing with my life
I am going to be more disciplined, spend time nurturing my creative side. I am also going to reconnect with postive people from my life. I also enjoy my work in corporate America - think am pretty good and successful at it. I don't think all business is evil but can be a force for good.
I’m really good at
Conversation and supporting my friends in all they do.
The first things people usually notice about me
My openness and kindness (I hope).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favortie books: Murakami in all his forms...top two of his would be "What I talk about when I talk about running" and "Norwegian Wood". Douglas Adams, Nick Hornby, Richard Ford, Iris Murdoch, Salman Rushdie (only the "Enchantress of Florence").
Film: The NY subway Customer Evacuation Video at mta.info. North by Northwest, The Darjeeling Limited, The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift(yes, absolutely), Polanski's Chinatown and Bitter Moon (sexy).
Six things I could never do without
1. Tetley tea from London
2. Annual trip to wonderful foreign destination
3. Pilgrimage to Burning Man in Nevada
4. My 5 year old jeans
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Traveling to faraway lands. My next vacation. Climbing a mountain, laying by a beach. My next run.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a long dinner with friends at a downtown restaurant or in Brooklyn, followed by being at home by midnight, watching a fun film with a glass of great red wine.

On Saturday I will be out till the wee hours of the morning, with friends hopefully laughing in a dive bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There is nothing I can think of that I want to not admit here...ask me anything and I will try to be honest.
You should message me if
You are open to new experiences, want to push your boundaries and mine.
