My self-summary
I was on here before and recently reactivated my profile after ending a relationship. There is no drama from the relationship but I am just looking to meet new people right now and not rush into anything. I consider myself to be a genuine and sincere person. I have a great personality and get along with anyone and everyone. My closest friends range from construction worker, professional photographer, high ranking military officer and government contractor. I get along in any environment. I have no preconceived expectations in a partner. Initial attraction is important to start but if you don't have a great personality it's just not going to work. I love to be in love and though I am definitely a "man", I enjoy a relationship where I can be honest and vulnerable with my partner.

I have a 14 year old daughter and I take my responsibility of preparing her to be a strong, confident and independent woman who contributes positively to society very seriously. I strive to be the best example of a man by which she will compare all others that come into her life. Her mother and I get along just fine and share placement equally so I have her 4 nights one week and 3 the next which does allow me plenty of time to focus on a relationship.

I enjoy doing almost anything from cultural events to drinks and a fire with friends to dancing and playing in the kitchen while we prepare dinner together before watching a movie on the couch with some wine. I enjoy watching some sports but only the Pats games have any influence on my schedule and even that isn't strict with a DVR. I'll miss the game to take you somewhere important to you but you can expect the game to be on the radio in the car and I will be getting text updates from my fanatical friend that won't understand how I can miss the game. I like being outdoors, especially by the ocean and I love to just drive and purposely get lost. How about a road trip to all the spots in the Carolinas in those books and movies by Nicholas Sparks? I look for ways to be romantic and spoil the woman I love with gestures of my affection. Maybe it's a song set up in your CD player to start as soon as you start your car, or maybe I just show up at your work to clean the snow off and start the car before you get out. If I'm in love, I'll always look for ways to make sure you never doubt where you stand with me.

I just read this blog post and thought everyone on a site like this could appreciate it.
What I’m doing with my life
I have been reinventing myself over the last year. I have been on a big health kick and have lost a good amount of weight and am continuing to my goal.
I’m really good at
Getting along with anyone. I can communicate well and am comfortable in any social situation. I love to laugh and make people laugh with me. I tend to use sarcasm a lot in my humor and can laugh at myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told my smile and my eyes. One woman friend said I have a smile that turns heads.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read fiction. Hunger Games trilogy, Art of Racing In the Rain, Headhunters On My Doorstep, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk, John Hart books, Nicholas Sparks books, a wide variety. For TV I love Suits, Graceland, American Horror Story, Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory. I love all types of movies. I love American, Italian and Mexican foods.
The six things I could never do without
My daughter and family, love, music, the ocean, hygiene products, my smartphone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future and what it will bring. Who you are and when I will find you.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't have a typical Friday ritual. I could be home watching tv with a glass of wine or beer, visiting with friends or family, driving aimlessly along the coast or just running errands I didn't get to earlier in the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I fear not living up to my full potential as the father my daughter needs and deserves.
