My self-summary
Howdy Im Oliver.
If you cant tell from the "Howdy" Im originaly from Texas. I moved to California in 2008 but if I knew it was this nice out here i would have moved here sooner. Im uaually at the bookstore where my over active imagination can go into over drive or around Santa Cruz with my camera taking pictures.

I'm a geek at heart who enjoys Anime, comics and all things dorky but I can put that all aside for a fun weekend camping and hiking. I am always on the look out for a copilot for a good roadtrip.
I've been to Europe twice before and would like to see the world some more. Peru, Ireland, New Zealand and Japan are just some of the places that are on my list to travel to soon.

Even tho all my family are still in Houston I still talk to them regularly. I have to keep my 6 younger siblings in check you know. lol. I am loyal and protective to the core when it comes to my friends, they are my second family.

If anything you have read has caught your interest let's meet for coffee or tea. Or if you just need an alibi for something you recently did that may or may have not been legal I can vouch for you.

Have a fun adventure in life. Adios
What I’m doing with my life
Working full time at my county job. Seeing as much of the world as possible. Getting ready for my next big adventure.
I’m really good at
Buying a new book even before starting/finishing one of the other 7 I have sitting on my coffee table. I am known to give sage like advice when needed, at no cost but donations are welcomed. I have a talent at making people laugh when the moment is needed.
The first things people usually notice about me
My tattoos. They all have a story to tell.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Christopher Moore, Chuck Palahniuk, Richard Kadrey, David Wong. Photography books, classics like The Count of Monte Cristo and Don Quixote. Im sorta picky about my books. Id rather find a book i really like an stay up to 3 in the morning reading it then get a book that will take me 3 weeks to read because it doesnt holdy interest.

Movies: Ive watched so many that I dont know where to begin. I'll watch anything from big budget movie to ultra low budget indie flicks. I prefer to watch foreign films with subtitles rather then dubbed. Ive even help make some movies with some friends which got me in Imdb.com. I am ready for a movie quote throw down when ever you are.

Food: Mexican, Asian,Italian. Im willing to try anything once.

Shows: Anthony Bourdain No Reservation(wish i had his job), Iron Chef (Japanese version), Top Gear (British version), Doctor Who, Bitchin Kitchen, Misfits (watch it on Hulu), Elementary, The Walking Dead, Comic Book Men, The Flash, Gotham.
The six things I could never do without
Camera
Fountain pen & Journal
Iphone.
Family/Friends
A good book
My army of monkeys
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Falls between: How much my inner dork is excited to be going to Comic Con for the first time this year, can I make the climb up Half Dome on my Birthday or what I'll do when the zombie apocalypse happens.
On a typical Friday night I am
Youll probably find me at the gym working off the donuts my coworkers brought in for Donut Friday. Then somewhere peaceful reading what ever new book I picked up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I might have shed a tear or two at the end of the movie August Rush. What...dont judge me, it was a really good movie. The music touched me.

Or perhaps that Im a recovering Candy Crush Addict.
You should message me if
You need a travel buddy, getaway driver or solid alibi.
