My self-summary
My life has been similar (a metaphor) to Siddhartha in Herman Hesse's book. A pilgrim in this journey we call life. Teilhard de Chardin's quote that "we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but we are spiritual beings having a human experience" resonates with me. I am looking for a similar pilgrim to share the journey with me.

In my pilgrimage of life, I have made a concerted effort to be as well rounded as possible. (emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, and physically). I have degrees/experience in Business, Theology, and Psychology. Currently I am in IT.
(what a long strange trip its been)

I would say that I am a combo of Carl Jung, Herman Hesse and Harpo Marx. I can be deep at times and very silly at other times.

I am grounded into the everyday experience of living in the world. I enjoy the finer worldly things of life (food, drink, art, travel, a hot shower etc) and at times find spiritual connections in them. Heck, the Kama Sutra was designed as spiritual union through carnal pleasures. (who knew?)

Another online profile describes me as follows:
Naturally easy to get along with, engaging, insightful, and caring. Your conversations will be deep and meaningful.
You're looking for a romantic bond and will be able to faithfully maintain it.

I have been embarking on leading a healthier live style for the last couple of years. Exercising several times a week and cutting down on bad fat, carbs and sugars. I am not where I want to be but I am healthier than I used to be. I am looking for a partner that shares the same outlook. I do not mind a few extra pounds, but I would like my partner to lead a healthy lifestyle with me.(especially at this stage in life).

One of my passions (or vices) is travel. I have traveled the world (Europe, China, Tibet, Australia, Africa, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, the Caribbean) and would love to continue to explore it with the right person.

My eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love Cirque du Soleil.(live and dvd).
I like all types of music (well maybe not gangsta rap) and all types of food. If it provides any insight, my "favorite Beatle" was George Harrison. I love his song Within You Without You.
