My self-summary
Note: This profile is due to get an eventual overhaul. If there's something you'd like to know about me that isn't mentioned here, then please feel free to message me.

Note 2: I'm (usually) notoriously bad at replying to stuff right away a lot of the time, so this is just a heads-up to say that I usually, eventually reply to people, though usually a few days or more after initial contact, provided I've been on relatively recently.

Note 3: I've decided to change my location to simply "Bexley", as in the Borough, not the village (the fact I know it's a village means I live in the area!) because it saves me having to change my location all the time. If you're genuinely interested in *where* in Bexley I actually am, lemme know.

Right so, this is my new profile. I was formerly TheKenny, but I decided to change my nickname to represent a new beginning of things, and also because I've changed my mind over a lot of the questions posted. Unfortunately my choice of name was already taken, so I added a 09 at the end! Erm, anyway I'm gonna leave it at here for now while I sort stuff out.

I know I should put something here, but I'm pretty bad at summarising myself, seeing as I can be quite random... I'd almost go as far to say that summarising myself is somewhat of a futile exercise, as it doesn't do me justice!

Also, while I said that I know Sign Language (albeit poorly), it's not British SL that I was taught... it's Irish though I'm not too sure how similar Irish and British SLs are.

I really need to keep this profile up to date, but yeah, I'm poly, although as you can see above, I'm not in any relationships >.>

I have been told I have a really dry sense of humour, which I do put (or at least try) to use in some of my "comedy projects", which are vaguely shown below. I'll eventually show some more concrete examples in due time.

I am enigmatic, loyal, and randomly random
What I’m doing with my life
Most recently, I've just gotten myself a job for the first time in ages, though admittedly it's only one with erratic hours. Still though, these days, work is work! I plan on either starting up my own business, or getting a more regular job at some point soon.

I'm starting to get into the likes of electronics, robotics and music composition along with other projects and experiments, or rather will be eventually... not got everything I need yet, although I do have a nifty lab coat I'm going to be using... ^.^ I'll be updating my website eventually to show off such projects.

I've been doing a podcast on and off with my friend indiegothollie and we recorded a couple episodes together; the site is located at (though soon will be changing to a new and cheaper domain to encompass the DiggerCast and the DiggerFeast, indicated below) and there's already an old episode up to listen to, as well as a 5 year old pilot which was done by myself and another friend (who may yet return to do episodes). So you know, my name's Andrew, though more commonly I go by Andy.

If you're interested in talking about weird and crazy websites, as well as going on tangents and discussing random things, give myself or Ollie a message, and we'll get back to you about it :) and/or if you're in London or nearby and want to try out some weird food and drink and aren't afraid of being on camera, then give us a shout too! Please note that the filming schedule is currently rather 'bitty', but at the very least we can discuss things about it; a lot of the time I do filming when I actually have an excuse to, but I am gradually trying to do filming every fortnight. The podcast has been suspended so we're now exclusively focusing on doing the filming instead when we can!

I finally managed to upload a video for the DiggerFeast, which involves what I mentioned above. I'll explain more about this in due time, as I'm needing to sort out a few loose threads. I'll also post a link to it here as well. Feel free to give us some feedback! It's also the only time I legitimately get to touch and squeeze Boobees* and show it off to people on YouTube! I also get to talk about drinks named after orgasms, women's genitalia and drugs**... gotta love the world we live in, huh?

Watch the videos here:

And yes, I ramble occasionally, that was in the early days of over a year ago! The next season should become a little more professionally done when we start filming. That said however, the videos that we have filmed should give you a somewhat good idea of what we are trying to accomplish. Please note that the guy I filmed those longer videos with will no longer be making an appearance.

*Yes, it's a drink, before anyone asks :P

**Naturally, it's hard to take things seriously when the drinks refuse to do the same!
I’m really good at
Computers: I'm usually the go-to guy with all my friends when it comes to anything technical, seeing as I'm such a geek, although I'm nothing like the stereotypical ones. That said, I am a little on the anti-social side, and perhaps a little too self-sufficient/independent. But yeah, I provide free IT support to my friends (alcohol is appriciated as payment too, that said, but it's not needed), and use it to improve my experience.

Gaming, Reading, Writing, Photography, (usually) being calm in an emergency, panicky or (highly) stressful situation - although it hits me later on, sometimes a lot harder than I think! The general rule of thumb seems to be though for anything that affects me, I tend to need about half the time I was under stress for to recover.
The first things people usually notice about me
My accent is usually a talking point with everyone (concieted much?), seeing as I was born in England, but I was raised in Ireland, so it gives me a rather interesting accent. To some ears, I sound Irish, and others rather posh, though I've been asked where in Canada or America I'm from, which usually gets an amused "what the?" look, before telling them where I'm actually from. Some people from the area I live in at present think I'm from the West Country (ooh arr), which I find kind of amusing as well.

Living in East London/Essex and Southeast London/Kent over the past 5.5 years has accentuated my English accent a tad, although my Irish accent still has a clear influence on how I say certain words, such as "Irish" and "Ireland". Most people can understand me though, at least compared to the people from where I used to live. I rarely use the word "innit" in casual conversation, and only as a contraction of "isn't it?" or "is it not?" I can be poetic, Irish and posh all at once, go me!

I also have a very poor memory, which does be quite frustrating at times... case in point, I completely forget to update details in my profiles at times, though usually I don't forget the easily clicked options, so usually they're the best thing to consult... if you're still not sure, you can just ask :P

I guess my facial hair should get a mention too... I'ver been told by some I have an "Epic Beard", or words to that affect, though admittedly, the reason why I have the beard in my profile pic is partly because I keep on letting it grow! I'd prefer just to stick with a bit of stubble tbh... I don't think clean saven suits me much, although I'll eventually have to shave it off for an interview >.>
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night Time, I'm Irish, Get Me Out of Here, WLTM, Junk Male (takes place in Dublin, which surprised me!), Tales in a Rear View Mirror, anything by Raymond E. Fiest

Shows: NCIS, CSI (all series), Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, QI, Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, American Dad, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Father Ted, The IT Crowd, Black Books

Movies: Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Back to The Future, Waking Life, Lord Of The Rings, Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate and many others.

I'm actually currently planning to watch all 250 movies on IMDB before I'm 40 and so doing the same for the BBC top 200 reads, although both are going a bit slow at present.

Music: Various artists, such as Depeche Mode, Apoptygma Berzerk, Color Theory, Nine Inch Nails, Paddy Casey, David Gray, Coldplay, Daft Punk, Blackmore's Night, Tangerine Dream, Nightwish, Evanesence, Within Temptation, Vangelis, The Cure, Arcana, Martin Gore, David Sylvian, Dave Gahan and sometimes I like a bit of Classical. I like other bands and genres too, but this is a small sample of what I like. Ask me if you want to know more. I've also recently gotten into Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, Steven Wilson, Tenek and Assemblage 23 and a few other artists whose names I can't think of right now. I recently have also become more of a fan of Suede, after seeing a concert of theirs at the O2 Arena, which was pretty cool.

Food: Spaghetti Bolognese, Chicken Tikka, Lasagne, Fudge and also Nandos, which isn't exactly food, but I'm surprised it took me 3-4* years before I finally got around to trying it... I blame the lack of money from being a poor student at the time >.>

*Yes, I finally corrected the typo... did it bother anyone else too?
Six things I could never do without
Food, water and air are three things that come to mind. I doubt I could live without being able to go online though either, seeing as I'm such a geek >.>

My friends would be another one, though that is horribly cliche; oh well it brings me to 5... now, what is 6?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything and nothing... I just think a lot in general. You can apparantly, literally see my mind at work, if you're into that sort of thing, which seems to be quite a few. I didn't realise it was all that interesting to be honest!
On a typical Friday night I am
Nowadays, I'm probably at work watching some gigs... such a dull life I lead :P Occasionally hanging out with friends at home, or home alone.

If I go out, 90% of the time, I'm out on a Saturday night till Sunday morning... if I go out that is (sometimes I may stay at home, either with friends or alone - depends on money situation; my primary job doesn't pay much XD). And if I do, you'll usually find me at the venerable Slimelight goth club in Islington, usually staying till daylight hits, which is perhaps kind of ironic for goths... at least if you believe the stereotypes anyway!

I'm not really a goth myself, but I do have leanings towards it.

These days, I could equally be working as weekends get pretty busy for me at times!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm rather unpredictable at times (in a good way), and can also be rather ditzy and absent-minded. I'm also very prone to anxiety and can freak out at the most insignificant things at times, if I think they're bigger than they really are. For the most part though, I have it under control, and I seem to be a little TOO calm at times, but rather that than panic, right?

I should also mention that I've Asperger Syndrome (a form of mild, high-functioning Autism), so that is the reason for the above, and any other odd traits I exhibit or have listed. I've come to a stage in my life where I need to admit this, because not doing so tends to alter people's perceptions of me, although admittedly, I have the fear that if I do admit it, it alters people's perceptions of me!

It's a vicious circle, though it's one I'll just have to deal with.

Here's a great video that explains AS in better detail... to the extent it strikes a strong chord:

That said though, a few things may not apply to me, or do apply, but depends on the circumstances at play.
You should message me if
It's your call... I can't really tell you either way if you should or shouldn't. >.>

I'm a bit random at times as well, depending on my mood.

DiggerFeast Stuff Below

Please note, if you are messaging about being on the DiggerFeast or any other projects I have planned, I'll be likely wanting to get some non-OkC contact details from you at a slightly faster rate than usual. This is because I'm trying to get into regular scheduling of the shows (which usually film every 2 weeks), but standard policy dictates that the earliest one I can get people on is one a month or so later as it gives us a chance to meet and see how we get on in person.

Therefore, if you don't want to be on an episode within a month of you asking me about being on it, you either need to tell me that you don't want to be on it yet, or mention it when you want to be on it later on, taking into account the month-long delay under usual circumstances; I will forego on standard policy if we have met before you mentioned your interest, or you have special circumstances that require me to get something arranged sooner!
