My self-summary
interests include literary criticism, radical leftism, the smell of old books, that blinking light on the mountain that no one investigates or talks about, feminism, king arthur, strange sounds arising from cornfields in the dead of night, kickboxing and hiking. i am biochemically reliant on caffeine. i go to school for science and i read a lot of books and i'm really bad at talking about myself without being self-deprecating. i like trees and i know a lot about birds.
What I’m doing with my life
i'm a senior ecology major with a minor in environmental science, working on vertebrate paleontology research & some geophysics crap no one cares about. i write for a newspaper which sounds cooler than it is because mostly i do stories about things like what the most popular dog name in my town is (it's Max. Max is the most popular dog name).
I’m really good at
writing margin notes in novels, petting cats, climbing things.
The first things people usually notice about me
mostly just a vague nihilistic sadness
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
i have never eaten food. i create my own glucose by photosynthesizing.
The six things I could never do without
all of them are my pet turtle. his name is abe. we're bros.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the Void, ecology, paleontology, literary criticism, crazy shit that lives at the bottom of the ocean - man, there are tubeworms three feet long living on extinct volcanoes a mile below the deepest reaches of the sun. Sometimes I'll be mad about spilling coffee on my shirt and then I'll remember that - consumerism, shakespeare.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
you're mortal & scared & hurtling through an unknowable void on a small rock and feel like cuddling a bunch
