My self-summary
Please be aware that I am a coconut (brown outside, white inside). :-) A product of a mixed relations marriage that is still being celebrated today (40 years). Race is not terribly important to me, but I've found out the hard way that it sometimes is to others.

Currently looking for someone to play Monica to my Chandler. Someone to get to know. Someone to laugh together with. Someone to share the secrets of the universe and our infinitely insignificant place in it, in hushed & whispered tones.
What I’m doing with my life
Under construction.
I’m really good at
Listening is still a favorite thing to do. Learning to recognize opportunities. Especially ones that don't quite demand an obligatory payback but just enough to keep myself feeling valued and appreciated. Understanding that actions speak way louder than words, no matter how eloquent or charming.
The first things people usually notice about me
I will default to honesty, because (if this question is supposed to be answered in a way that (attractively) markets oneself then my honesty is going to stab me in the back. I can be incredibly nervous the first time I meet with someone, so much so that I often get tongue-tied and come across far less intelligent & far more clumsy than I actually am. Well, just less intelligent. I'm STUCK with clumsy, comes with Murphy. I've also gotten used to the taste of shoe, I'll let you guess why. BUT I'm not afraid to be corrected, or (as I like to see it) given a different take on any given subject!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like movies. I'll watch anything once and if it resonates, repeatedly, to where you'll question my mental health...okay, perhaps not.

Music I enjoy doesn't fit in any one genre. Probably easier to say that I am partial to 70's through 90's. Music is a universal tool of expression and any tune can find someone's attraction.

Fair warning, I game a lot (Xbox One &360) ...and not always WITH someone (multiplayer). But if you know us guys, we will always make time for who we love.

...I thought it was obvious, the "WHAT" that we love... since I led with the "what" being "game"... you got that, didn't you?
Six things I could never do without
In an unidentifiable order...
Fall (Love)
Skyrim (or Bethesda in general)
My circle of friends (& family of all variations❤💙💚💛💜)
Air Conditioning (There's a reason I was born in THIS century)
My pups (Dexter & Linus)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stuff..... and thangs.

No, really this time, I promise. I think about... everything really., not EVERYthing... but some things. A LOT of things, actually. (Unedited train of thought BTW)

I think about Self improvement. Finding the opportunities to do new things and hopefully outrun the sometimes steep learning curve when attempting successful accomplishments. I'll YouTube anything a dozen times but sadly sometimes Murphy's Law demands I sacrifice whatever I'm attempting for a trip back to the drawing board. Luck of the Irish.

Self aggrandizement, obviously.

This space we occupy with inflated, misplaced values and a dollop of ignorance to help wash it down.

Thinking of ways to make people laugh. Notice the header is "Things I spend a lot of time thinking about", not "Things I'm really good at". Just want to clear that up right away.

Being disappointedly, unintentionally and yet wildly successful at slight sarcasm.
On a typical Friday night I am
...filling out another silly essay/survey/questionnaire for a personals site in another vain attempt to connect with someone special. ...obviously. Okay, not really. A typical Friday nite will catch me relieved that the weekend is here and usually at the gym. Since everyone else has a Fiday night life, all that gym equipment is just sitting there, unused!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've had my eyebrows plucked once. Why on earth women go through so much pain to look "gorgeous", I'll never understand. You DO know looks are fleeting, right? You're not gonna look the same at 50, 60, 70 or 80. Think on that for crying out loud. SOME pains just aren't worth it.
You should message me if
you're looking to meet that nice guy who consistently finishes last. ☺
