My self-summary
I'm an interesting fellow with a love for reading, talking, listening, debating, philosophy, dreaming, cuddling and hoping. I'm hoping to meet some interesting people as well. I'm a bit quirky but I love it and I hope you do too!

I am Intelligent, Fun-loving, and Hilarious
What I’m doing with my life
I joined the military so that I could have them help pay my way through College. The idea of owing student loan fees for years was scarier than joining the military, kind of weird I guess. I'm trying to pursue philosophy, the school of thought. I'm a big fan of existentialism. I've got a lot of potential and a lot I could do with my life. My long term goal is to eventually have a PH.D and spread my knowledge and Wisdom to other people like myself. I recently finished my service and I am enrolled at SMC to put a foot in the door at UCLA. Just moved back to L.A. and I'm looking for new people to meet and hang out with. Badly need to increase my social circle as it's kind of scattered right now.
I’m really good at
Talking to people and listening to them. This helps me to learn a lot about people and why they do what they do. I'm an excellent reader and I read every day. Learning! Haha, I pick up pretty much everything quickly and usually on my first try. Taking incredibly long walks talking about anything and everything under the sun. Spelling because everybody needs a walking dictionary, right?!Foreplay, I'll leave it at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, my laugh, or the book I'm reading. I know I'm weird about bringing a book with me wherever I go, but it doesn't stop me from being outgoing and friendly to all those around me. Or whatever stupid shirt I'm wearing that day. I love you Don Hertzfeldt!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh there's so many in this category to even try to bring up. Hmmm Let's see...
Book: Hitchhikers Guide, Dark Tower, Flowers for Algernon, House of Leaves
Movies: Anything by Don Hertzfeldt, loving his Bob trilogy! Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Kung Pow, Moulin Rouge, Groundhog Day
Music: I'm so eclectic it's really hard to say. Absolute favorite would have to be the Beatles. And if you haven't heard of the Avalanches you will after you meet me. They're my standard band nobody has heard of.
Food: Hmmm Cheesecake, Sourdough bread, Clam Chowder,Hummus, Thai, Pretty much anything delicious!
The six things I could never do without
Knowledge: I don't think I could live without having more out there to learn and discover. I don't know where I would be without my mind, would I still be me without my brain? I have a hard time saying yes to that. I hope to never lose who I am that way. I think it's funny how we constantly quest for knowledge and understanding but if we ever had it all the world would become boring and lost to us.
Books: Whole Universes encapsulated in a little volume of pages and ink, books are truly endless. How else can you live so many lives and see so many places that may not even exist, but do in your mind?
Love: I think the Beatles said it best, All you need is love. In the end it could be what saves your life, keeps you happy, puts you to sleep at night, let's you find that person just right for you. I believe everyone needs to be loved at some point.
Sex: It's what got us all here in the first place!
Friends: Everybody needs friends. They're always there for you, strong when you need them and they always look out for you. I love being a good friend for people. Everybody needs one at some point.
Memories: They are all each our own, and they make up everything we are, but we can never really show them to anyone else can we?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Damn near everything. I almost never look at something without asking why or how. If you spend a day with me you wouldn't believe all that can pop in my head seemingly from nowhere. I love to make connections in my head and see if others can guess. At night I love to look up at the sky and be amazed at how we managed to get to the moon and back with technology less advanced than the phone in my pocket. I love to wonder what is out there amongst the stars. It's amazing we keep finding out the Universe is even bigger than we thought. Pretty good for infinity...
On a typical Friday night I am
Learning how to be just a regular person again. Enjoying my freedom or whatnot. I've yet to establish a "typical friday". Maybe you could help me with that! =D
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to be in the military... Sssshhhhh Don't tell anyone!
You should message me if
You like an intellectual with a soft heart and a big grin and want to have a laugh, or if you've read any existentialism lately! You like having long interesting walks with long interesting conversations. You enjoy a good meal, and if you're the affectionate sort.
