My self-summary
I'm a pretty particular guy and a native Valley girl. I do identify as a feminist/womynist, and I like to surround myself with people who are influenced by dialogues of social justice.

I'm usually drawn toward the alternative indie scene that dominates the Silverlake neighborhood for its artistic expression.

My favorite type of people have always been those who can shake social forces, and those are the real heroes of society. Despite growing more cynical over the years, I'm always been appealed by kindness and thoughtfulness.

I do find language to be an expressive tool that I was never able to master.

I admire people who feel unashamed to express an unorthodox nature about themselves.

I can be sardonic, introverted, and naive.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a Bruin alumni who studied Sociology. I'm involved with the non-profit community, and I'm trying to find more structured ways to preoccupy my time.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite pieces of work often include satire or dark humor.

My favorite author is Sandra Cisneros. I enjoy her poetry. I'm usually fond of post-modern texts, thought-provoking thematic works, and avante-garde mediums.

My favorite movies include Young Adult & Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, Emperor's New Groove, and Heathers.

Favorite TV shows: Difficult People, Broad City, Bob's Burger, Roseanne, Xena, My So-Called Life, Another Period.

I enjoy live performances. Some of my favorite artists include Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey, Joni Mitchell, Bjork and Lana del Rey. I'm pretty drawn to female artists in general. I also enjoy listening to covers of my favorite songs.

As for food, I like to explore different flavors. I usually crave sandwiches, but my taste palate changes often. I'm always open to try something new.

I'm also a big fan of stand-up female comedians: Sarah Silverman, Judy Tenuta, Natasha Leggero, Wendy Liebman, Rita Rudner, and Amy Schumer when she's not stealing jokes.
