My self-summary
So what to say about me. I am a fun, funny and life-loving chick. I am a diy hippie girl. I am very social and have a large and eclectic group of friends. I like to go out and share smiles. I like trying new things! I have no real fear when it comes to adventure, nothing I cant talk myself out of anyway. Even food should be an adventure. I love being outdoors and going to festivals and parks. I love to hike, camp, swim and get dirty! I am a pretty cool girl. Laid back and honest. Open about everything. I love football and yelling at the TV if I can't be at a game. Not easily offended or overly girly. I can hold my own door but don't mind if you do. I can easily be one of the guys. No "icky bug oh damn I broke a nail" shit for me.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and soul-sister to many many people across the United States. My family is very close and very important to me. We travel a few times a year in order to spend time together.

I currently work for JCPS at a local high school as an assistant in a special needs classroom. My students and coworkers are like family to me as well. I celebrate life and and share sorrow with all of my dear ones.
I’m really good at
Finding a reason to laugh. Being a mother. My job(which is super fun by the way). Making "I hate hoppy" beer faces.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor and love of life. I am loud and enthusiastic about being happy. Life is a celebration! I love to laugh and smile! I was recently told that I was easily one of the happiest people ever.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh wow...this is a big open field of possibilities!

Lets see...Books? I love to read! I am a sucker for magic and fantasy...wizards (yes even "those" but not only!..and YES I loved them!), dragons, mythical creatures, new worlds and new perspectives. Historical fiction, retold classic fairy tales, totally cheesy paranormal romance...involving vampires and werewolves...yeah...
Still reading? I do enjoy reading but I am one of those intelligent people who can not mix business and pleasure...and I read strictly for pleasure! I usually have a new book or two I am working on sprinkled with three or four old favorites for variety.

I have not seen a lot of movies. People find it funny sometimes when we are all sitting around talking and I say "Nope haven't seen it." I get incredulous looks and exclamations..."How can you not have seen..." Yeah, too long to list BUT as with books, I love revisiting "old friends" and if I love a movie, I can never see it too many times. And as with life...I am always ready to make new friends.

Not really a TV watcher so not much help there...I will watch it if it is on...but usually with a book in hand. If I am going to watch something I love survival shows, and talking about how I could have done the SAME damn thing using LESS energy or somehow more effectively.

Music is another odd one. I do not really seek music out. Well very rarely. I can say I do own the Soundtrack to Jesus Christ Superstar and am a BIG fan of Broadway musicals. I love belting them out badly and loudly. I do listen to the radio in the car and sometimes as background noise. I love live music and theater...once we are talking taste is whatever the universe can provide.

I love food! I like new tastes and experiences in food. I am not shy about trying anything and not afraid of being thought "unladylike" if I eat. I was raised in south Louisiana and
I love seafood and eating with my fingers. I am a drinker and enjoy beer and wine with dinner...depending on dinner of course. I eat anything from sandwiches to soup and sushi to hummus and goat cheese on pitas. I like taking a long leisurely time at dinner, eating slow, having a few drinks and a lot of talk. I am a "Oh..that looks awesome!" kind of girl which of course means "Come on gimme a taste!" BUT this is always a double ended offer...of course you can try a bite too!
Six things I could never do without
Family, friends, sunshine, laughter, nature and books( or stories at the very least!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My family! How to make things I see as useful (at home or at work / school)for a cheaper price.
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading or watching a movie with my kids. Out with friends at my local bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am kind of an English language snob. I hate when people talk to
me and it looks or sounds like they had only a third grade
education. I love punctuation. I expect full sentences, at least an
attempt! I hate "wht r u up 2" type speech, it gives the
impression of being uneducated at best and lazy at worst. I do not
get freaked when there is a misplaced comma but an apostrophe in a
contraction is not rocket science!

Misspeeling is a mistake I frequently make. I separate random
thoughts with "..." to show the random run on train of

I do not expect perfection but EFFORT at least!
