My self-summary
I am a fun, funny lady who has a great life for which I am so very grateful. I have wonderful family and friends. Being child-free, I have a lot of freedom. Some of my favorite places include Hawaii, Disneyland, the Yuba River, the Sierra Nevadas, and New Mexico. I am fascinated by sharks, and sea life in general, like manatees (got to swim with them!), seals, otters, and dolphins (especially spinners), but most of all I LOVE sea turtles. I enjoy yoga on a semi-regular basis. I love to dance and twirl :) I love the sky - lightning storms, crescent and full moon, sun rise and set, bright planets and shooting stars. I have dabbled in astrology, tarot, and magick. I am totally in love with my niece and nephew (and puppy-niece!!) and love spending time with them.

I own my own home and am looking for someone who is financially independent as well. I consider myself to be extremely liberal, but generally avoid news media.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm extra busy at work. Besides that I am mostly simply doing my best to enjoy life, spending time with loved ones, and taking it easy. I have a great job that I work hard at and I also love my free time.
I’m really good at
making people laugh, my job, math, procrastinating, and chillin'.
The first things people usually notice about me
I get a lot of compliments on my smile :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies and music - so much to narrow down!! I really like watching movies. Some of my favorites include Wes Anderson films, Baz Luhrmann's Red Curtain Trilogy, Harold and Maude, GoodFellas, Bridesmaids, Wall-E, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Last Waltz, The Polar Express, Little Miss Sunshine, Blade Runner, Deadpool! Daddy's Home was really good. Super was pretty kick-ass. Hush. And then, of course, who doesn't enjoy watching Jason Statham.

Music - Grateful Dead, Freakwater, The Band, Olivia Newton-John, Joan Armatrading, Belle and Sebastian, OMD, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Kate Bush, Dolly Parton, 70s, 80s, yacht rock, slow jams, slide guitar, slide whistle, bells and chimes, cowbell, shaky eggs, dramatic music, including (and especially) super sappy and high-angst love ballads, Also Sprach Zarathustra, soundtracks, and much, much more.

I've read quite a lot in my life both in and out of school but have not lately found many books that really pull me in, so I'm currently in the middle of about five different books and not actively reading any of them! Looking forward to coming across a book that I can't put down. Suggestions, please? More recently-isa: loved The Girl On The Train. First book that I read in 2 days since I can remember. Really liked The Goldfinch. Listened to The Strain series on audio. The first in the series was better than the others, especially that it was so excellently narrated by Ron Perlman! Just finished Shark Dialogues, which was really good. Suddenly finding myself reading what my 11-year-old nephew is enjoying: in the middle of The 5th Wave series.

Shows: Parks and Rec, Family Guy/American Dad/Cleveland Show, Simpsons, Girls, Archer, Bob's Burgers, New Girl, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Louie, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, Reno 911!, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, SNL, America's Funniest Videos, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Homeland, The Killing, The Following, Supernatural, Walking Dead, X-Files, Broadchurch, The Equalizer, Love, Luther, The Americans, Masters of Sex.

You should message me if
You are a redhead. Especially if you are Louis C.K. If you can make me laugh. If you're honest and at least as good of a communicator as I am. If you enjoy being awesome.
