My self-summary
A guy looking to be a film critic who loves great movies (and bad ones), likes to play video games from time to time, and works hard as his 9-5 (okay, it's actually noon-9) to keep the student loan payments up to date while constantly writing about what he's seen recently.
(He also likes to talk in the third person apparently)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm regularly adding to this website:
I’m really good at
I enjoy things like movies and video games and have learned a lot about them. If you're playing Scene It, then I'm your star player. I've been writing for about three years now and have thrown myself into it fully about a year ago.
The first things people usually notice about me
My awesomeness :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo (only read the first one), Battle Royale by Koushun Takami, most things by Stephen King, The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller, and Watchmen by Alan Moore

Movies - Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Anything by Kubrick, RoboGeisha, Most of Mel Brook's movies, Eraserhead, The Dark Knight, and Paprika

Shows - Case Closed, House, The Simpsons, 24, X-files, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Doctor Who (still on Tenant), Adventure Time, and Princess Jellyfish

Music - J-Rock, J-Pop, and older rock (Oingo Boingo is musical PERFECTION). Several third wave Ska bands, though Reel Big Fish is the best.

Food - Became a vegetarian about a year ago. Italian food and veggie burgers sustain me for the most part.

Video Games - anything by Suda 51, Final Fantasy X-2, Mirror's Edge, BlazBlue, the Xenosaga trilogy (still stuck on the second one), and Persona 3 and 4
The six things I could never do without
movies, television shows, my website, my laptop, friends, and my glasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the aspects that go into making good movies and writing jokes about them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing a movie or writing about one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Despite Frank Miller's inability to write a book without letting his "issues" infect every aspect of it, I like the Dark Knight Returns more than Watchmen. There I said it!
You should message me if
You enjoy movies, tv shows, books, video games, or you just can't take your eyes off that smoldering hunk in the picture :)
