My self-summary
Happy, well-adjusted human being. Weird, I know.

Smart, ambitious, kind - looking for similar.
What I’m doing with my life
Working in marketing, chasing culture, thinking about the world and drinking good coffee.

Trying to get out more.
I’m really good at
Solving problems. I get paid to think, which is a lot of fun. Otherwise - cooking, walking, planning stuff, excel (no you shut up), putting words into pleasing arrangements, hand-eye co-ordination, relative pitch, colours and design in general.

Less reliable when it comes to small talk, to add a bit of balance.
The first things people usually notice about me
Higher res in real life. Somewhere on the stubble-beard spectrum. Tries to dress well. Nice to most people and all animals (except spiders).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Reading feels to me like the surest path to the soul, but music the quickest.

Dr. Dog, Vampire Weekend, Elbow, Feist, Joanna Newsom, UNKLE, Grizzly Bear, Beirut, Nick Cave, Beth Orton, Neutral Milk Hotel, Janelle Monae, Portishead, The Mountain Goats, Aesop Rock, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Camille, St. Vincent, Iron & Wine, Laura Marling, Lianne la Havas, Jurassic 5, Beck, Steely Dan, the Beatles, Air, the Beach Boys, Jose Gonzalez, the Decemberists, Little Joy, Nick Drake, King Biscuit Time, Passion Pit, Everything Everything, Alt-J, Findlay, The Staves, Justice, Devendra Banhart, Cake, Gorillaz, Courtney Barrett, The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Central Band.

I like classical and modern orchestra but prefer individual works over oeuvres. The pretentious version of liking singles more than albums, I suppose.

Books: Tend toward modernism and postmodernism. Poststructuralism is fun to think about.
The six things I could never do without
- Springtime
- Alt tab
- Double bed
- Hot pasta
- Good design
- Spurious portmanteaus
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Particularly gender, biz, tech, politics, art and economics. Enjoy discussing ideas; not one for ideologues. I think there's a responsibility to understand both the rational and emotional arguments for both sides, although I also think that's really difficult.
On a typical Friday night I am
Whisky, wine, cider.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm intermittently attracted to men, and I'm fine with that. You don't need to be worried, though.
You should message me if
You're tired of choosing between mediocre white guys, self-parodying nerds, sociopath MRAs and drippy postgraduates.

You're fearless, talkative, doing something interesting, smarter than me and/or understand the correct use of the Oxford Comma.

Also, I can't see most Likes, which makes 633 missed connections. Don't be one of these. Go ahead and say hello.
