My self-summary
Renaissance man, refined, exceptionally inteligent and widely read.

Retired as senior executive in global strategy planning with the world's leading technology multinational.

Interested and very knowledgeable about philosophy, metaphysics and somewhat of an authority on non-dualistic metaphysics.
What I’m doing with my life
Retired early because I could do so. Now smell the roses and contemplate spiritual truth in a relaxed and laid back way.
I’m really good at
Abstract thinking and seeing relationships between totally unrelated factors or subjects.

Counselling on matters spiritual and on everyday living. That is what I do most of the time as pro bono work and fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
Spiritual insight, articulateness, intellect and forceful personality
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov and the subsequent volumes until the end.

Movies: Star Wars series, A Man for All Seasons.

Shows: Britcoms on public TV, especially Yes Minister, and TV sitcoms.

Baroque period music and specifically Bach; the Brandenburg concertos.

Any vegetarian food - particularly if it is spicy enough to jump off the table - Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Thai, Vietnamese
The six things I could never do without
Britcoms and TV sitcoms.

Guiding protegees and students on what life is all about.

Meditation and reflection on philosophical topics.

Going out to eat on occasion - always vegetarian.

Spending time with someone congenial - male or female - on the nature of existence et.al. In a romantic context with someone female and of a renaissance profile.

Personal time thinking about the nature of existence, life and what I can do to make the lot of others / the world better - within my limited abilities and ambit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Consciousness, God, Man, Nature - their relationship.

What can I do to be of service to other living beings - more than merely sentient beings or humans.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing, watching something on TV or replying to letters and e-mails that have accumulated during the week from friends and students.

Sometimes going out for a meal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ah, if you are really interested in that you will have to take the time and trouble to send me a message.
You should message me if
If a well-travelled, passionate, renaissance woman of refinement and great intellect with strong spiritual inclinations and of very liberal views and interests. Obviously being really easy on the eye is a big bonus.
