Even though I start off shy, I truly am fun to be around and make people laugh all the time. I spent 12 years working in Germany and that experience changed my world view and gave me any number of crazy adventures. I have a wicked sense of humor and a quick and agile mind. I can be extremely silly, most days my inner child is out, but can be serious when appropriate. Daytime geek job and have my dork moments but also a guy that loves sports and would rather be out in nature instead of inside. I am shy when first meeting in one on one situations, but get me in a group of people where I know one person and I do remarkably well. I have a huge heart and am willing to put it out there even if it means getting it scrunched up a bit.
Probably looking for the same thing as everyone else, someone that can keep up their side of a conversation, go to a dive bar or out for a nice dress up night on the town. I am a softy when it comes to animals and have 2 "rescue" cats. I know my way around a kitchen and love to cook. I want to meet someone in person and see body language, feel if something might be there even if it is just friendship.
Making a serious effort to get back to being more active and healthy after shoulder surgery in 2012. While I like the weather in Phoenix, I really miss going skiing and the getaway weekends in the mountains. If you are looking for a golf partner let me know. Even if it is just for golf...
Love music, can’t really say I have a favorite genre, it all depends on the day. Not much of a Rap fan but I can listen to anything. Picked up a guitar a couple of years ago and while I still can’t play, I enjoy learning little parts of songs that catch my ear. I have a new found love for the Blues.
If any of this seems like random bouncing around; it is. That is the way my mind works. I will never be accused of having a one track mind. So, if any of this sounds appealing, let me know because with the shyness thing it is tough for me to make first contact but I am trying to change that...
